Another amazing episode - can't believe the end (don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet), but that was not what I expected!

Can't believe there are only 2 more episodes, I'm going to miss this when it finishes.

ARGH. DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. Christ, Herrick is getting more and more terrifying each episode. The bit where they were reminiscing was horrid, and the end.... ARGH.

Incredible, risk-taking episode! I loved the reflection on just who the real monsters are/can be. And the final twist really does a nice job of complicating Mitchell's character, doesn't it? Please, please somebody greenlight an additional complement of episodes--you've created an addict here!

Oh my God. 48 hours ago, I found this in an index on Wikipedia and assumed it was old until I already had watched the pilot and the debut. I was unable to watch the third episode but managed to watch the second and fourth. This is the first show I have gotten into since 1994, and four or five of the actors look like people I know, which has not happened since 1988. On one hand, hard to believe it would not exist if not for Internet support. On the other, it hardly seems like television, or else I might have gotten interested in another show since 1994. I want to recommend it to a handful of friends but figure they cannot watch it yet. Then again, I can hardly shut up about it, either. I hope this comes across as a sincere compliment instead of unfocused ramblings.

This was like being hit by a ton of bricks!
I barely had time to process one shocker then along came another!
How did the guys manage to control themselves facing O after knowing what he did?
M is really really angsty character, I thought G might be the angstiest but it's a tie, I can't choose. Then A brings a whole 'nother level with *her* pain so this ep I'm cut-up three ways.
It had to be a child, they always bring the sharpest pain.
Great camera shot for bed scene I thought F had said no to M's offer so was shock to see when he was coming up stairs to the platform. But if L struggled how can a *child* resist vamp urges???
Also was this a farewell to L, is she not going to return after this ep?
And just when I thought I figured out N the writer sneaks more in with a further shade to the character - the twists keep coming and I can't focus on one.
BH is like a giant ball of yarn. Or an onion. It has layers. Maybe it's like spaghetti.
G is my fave character but I find myself caring what the other two are put through as well. Usually I like one character and don't really take much notice anyone else in a TV show but I have to say not the case here.
We have two more eps of the series to go and I'm wishing we had the start all over again.
This ep was so fast-paced with twists I can't tell what but something really dark due next since M went to H at the end there; M hurting so is he going to hurt and kill with G and A trying to pull him back?????
Curse that mob in the street though; M, G, and A fed them biscuits and tea/coffee for *weeks* (and listened to their life stories eg the Vin Diesel fanatic) but they decided to judge anyway. They don't deserve our three who try so much to be accepted. I don't claim to be supernatural but I know the hurt of being judged and alienated all too well. Curse that mob and let's see something happen where they *need* M, G, and A's help then they can have a big plate of humble pie. Life is hard enough without adding to it.

Really enjoyed this episode, but can't believe Mitchell went and vamped the boy when a few episodes back he refused to save the nurse he went out with. And the poor lad he turned into a vampire will be a boy vampire for the rest of his life. No growing up...Remember Kirsten Dunst's character in Interview with a Vampire? He's going to be one frustrated vampire in a decade or two. So is Mitchell really off the wagon, or is there something deeper going on? Just watched the pilot on YouTube - and wasn't dissapointed. I care about what happens to all the characters - can't wait for the next episode!

Watched it last night and now sitting down to watch it again!
Thank you so much for such a great series, I just can't beleive it will be over in 2 weeks...
I love the opening scene and especially the last part of it with Michell "walk through life" showing us what he has tried to be throughout his all "unlife".
But what an episode! So many twists, I think I may have whiplash... :-)
but I have one question... is it possible that Herrick or Seth was the driver of the car who killed the boy? ... in a bid to get Mitchell to do exactly what he talked about in ep 1: going public and offering grieving parents a choice... I just can't beleive this would just a coincidence... and I wonder what will happen (if I am right) when Mitchell works that one out...

Music wise... please please please... is a cd going to be released? or... can we have a song list for all the ep. and make our own compilation?

Amazing episode as per usual. Thought this one was darker than the previous ones. Really excellent acting by all the cast and loads of twists to get our heads round. It's gunna take me ages to take that episode in, I think i need to watch it again.

OH MY GOD!! I was with eveyone else i tink - knew as soons he tod him togo and get a dvd that he'd et his ands on that one but i was still sat going noooo dot watch it! lol. This episode really really is the best so far Mitchell is m favourite chrcter and this episode really made me think - made me doubt thngs i thought about him! I suppose Herrick was right about his life as it is being a "fad" his walk of life bit at the start proves that - he changes so often trying to fit in somewhere who will he be next? I love the character hes fantastic and i dont want him to turn "bad" when hes with annie and george hes so lovely and "normal" and then he does something like turning that little boy nto a vampire? never thought i would see that - not an innocnt child when he felt so bad about lauren and couldnt do it to becca??? Woah confused!!

As for the person driving the car - it had to be Herrick Seth or Lauren didnt it? But then how did they know hed be there - in the middle of the street?? but then lauren sawim with the boy bowling and did the "goodbye" bit she ulnt have done th unless she knew hed have a reason to come back she wouldnt really let him go. OH MY GOD so many questions so much argh lol loved the bit where he scared off those bratty little kids lol oh how id love to be able to do that when i was at school!! Oh come on episode 5! I really hope episode 6 isnt final i hope to god theres a series 2!! love it love it love it!! Oh Mitchell please dont go bad (although if i was him i think i probaly would - after all - humans come and go dont they hes gotta be stuck with the vampires forever...)

Just finished watching it again - god its good lol sends shudders through you doesnt it. still not fully understanding mitchells move at the end but hopefully all will become clear soon.

Just noticed how different bernie looks as a vampire too its horrible - like all his innocence has gone hes wearing cooler clothes has gelled shorter hair paler face just looks - vampirish lol something i didnt really take in first time round

Haha, people keep beating to it, I have just watched it again too and was about to say how much cooler Bernie looked as a vamp..great minds lol.

That's why I wanted them to ''sex up'' Lauren a bit(more like she was in the pilot) because vamps seem to look super confident and sexy.

lol i do like the way the vampire things done its not too gothy and for want of a better word - wierd - it is done in a sort of sexy way but on a little boy it just shows how all of his innocence has been taken away and i know he was smiling and happy to be alive but still he looked so sad aswell :-( very bad decision mitchell. As for Lauren I cant make my mind up I do like her as a character shes interesting but she does get a bit irritating i suppose but she is supposed to lol its supposed to annoy us what shes doing to Mitchell but in this episode we realise its not really her its him - hes the one who wants to go back - as soon as she plays hard to get hes dying to go with her - he looks so dissapointed when she says goodbye and doesnt think twice about following her to the door its proof playing hard to get works unfortunately lol

Oh and you should pitch this show to SciFi in the states btw, personally I think it'd get good reception ^^

but yeah again either way, great show...hope you guys decide to do a full season after the initial 6

This episode is great. I really do not want this series to end.

Come on team its been said enough now you're gonna have to get a move on making series 2 and hopefully itll be a bit longer than this one :-) give us a good 10 - 12 episodes to get our teeth into! Please please please :-)

Just had a thought whilst watching again - ninas scars - ok so it may be a bit rubbish and far too much of a coincidence for the storyline to actually work but any chance she might be a werewolf too and thats what the scars are from? I dont actually think this is gonna be the case but for the record if it is the case let it be remembered i considered it lol hmm

Getting away from the darkness, did anyone wonder about George's little fashion show? I loved it, but it seemed familiar--then I remembered that there's a very similar bit in the recent movie HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. Is this some kind of new post-modern male trope?

lol i loved his little fashion show that was one of my favourite scenes - yes partly because Mitchells got such a gorgeous smile which gets shown off a lot in this scene but also Russel is a hilarious actor hes great at the serious stuff too but i think it would be a shame if he didnt do more comedy after this because hes brilliant hes got such amazing comic timing and his facial expressions are just brilliant he has some brilliant one liners in this show but sometimes he doesnt even have to say anything its just the look - the funniest line i think was when mitchell accuses him of getting full of himself since he got laid..."Ive always been!....No Im not!....I mean....and please no dont call it, its not getting laid with Nina its more...poetic.....oh yes hilarious the werewolf's a romantic!" Got serious fit of giggles lol and also got my mum to watch it (it was hard work she doesnt like "far fetched sci fi crap - shes an emmerdale woman through and through :-)) anyway she loved it and she cracked up at that bit too.

As for hes just not that into you i havent seen it when abouts in the film is it? i work in a cinema so may have to go watch that bit lol.

Hmm at first I thought if Mitchell is disappointed in humans, why save Burnie? It seems a conflicting & confused course of action to take.If you hate them, let him die or turn him and his mum into vampires. If you like humans let Burnie die and keep trying to be a good vampire.

Dont turn him, tell his mum to 'keep him good' then give up & go join the mean vampires yourself!
But then I decided vampire behaviour seems to be a parallel for addict鈥檚 behaviour. In fact Mitchell is possibly more human than he realises as 'saving Burnie' demonstrates compassion, weakness, hypocrisy and the bizarre twisted complex logic that humans follow.

Just because he chose to let Becca die, doesn't mean he would make the same choice a second time. In fact having experienced Beccas death it would be hard to go through it again.
He's an addict and he happens to be on a right downer, which is when you're most vulnerable to temptation. Herrick has planted the seeds of an idea in his head to save children in hospitals. The human in him probably can't cope with watching another person close to him die.

In true addict and general hypocritical adult behaviour - do as I say, not as I do. Mitchell tells his mum to keep Burnie good & then goes off to join the bad vampires.
Maybe because he's finally given up trying to be good and has accepted he can't fight nature and he is tired of hurting everyone he gets close to and he is safer with his own kind???
..Or perhaps he has only befriended the vampires so he can take them down from the inside???

To Oh_Suzi...that's exactly what I'm kinda hoping will happen. Just like (i think) Lauren and Herrick were playing a game saying they're going to leave him alone from now on, i really hope Mitchell's double-bluffing them by going back.
