New to BH? Watch out, this post contains spoilers from series one...

The moment Annie died was without question the pivotal moment of episode three, so it had to be both shocking and realistic. Ìý

Oh, and she had to fall hard enough to crack that tile. Ìý

To find out exactly how it was done, we've gone behind the scenes to discover a world of green screen, stunt men and a member of the Being Human cast who really wants to be James Bond...

It's really interesting to see the behind the scenes stuff and it's nice that you're giving such public credit to the crew as well as the actors and writer.

I thought Lenora was brilliant in the scenes with Annie and Owen...you could see a huge amount of emotion just in her eyes..the adoration when she watched him, the moment when he was looking straight at her and she thought for a second he could see her, the realisation, everything just in the eyes. Very good.

    Very interesting, thanks.

And, as was mentioned on the clip, it was very effective having the present Annie in amongst the past Annie. It was a good way of showing it from her point of view, rather than just us watching from the outside. Good decision.

on the subject of Owen killing Annie does anyone think he did it (and made it look like an accident) so that he could be with Janey Harris?

I'm also going to say that I agree with sperkii that it was more effective having annie watch her own death rather then the tradition flashback

I noticed that when Owen takes apart the loo to retrieve the thong he does so with such ease!!
Any plumbers out there may correct me - but I am sure you cannot remove a soil pipe so quickly and without getting any water on the floor! And then it just popped back together and the job was done in minutes.
    Wish it was that simple!

Regarding the commet about the toilet - we all know that things take longer in real life - but we just want the story to unfold rather than a precise description of how to unblock a loo without getting floor wet. (yawn - yawn) maybe goadsby should be watching a DIY prog instead of a story about a ghost/vampire/werewolf!
I love the story lines - and if you get too much detail then the story gets overlooked.
Thanks Being Human and continue telling the story.

Could anyone please tell me why exactly Owen killed Annie? Was it really over the panties(knickers) she was wearing or not wearing?

by not revealing too much, I think the way Owen killing Annie maybe open to interpretation-- I think that it wasn't a matter of her wearing a thong or not, it was the fact that she had them, full stop...being the control freak that Owen is he Automatically
accuses her of cheating..and by being left with his own Insecurity
he lashes out at Annie by saying and i quote " did you wear this for him..." now who is "him"?
