New to BH? Watch out, this post contains spoilers from series one...

Ìý

Ìý

Ok, so imagine this...Ìý

Ìý

There's Aidan Turner, Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow and YOU sat in the front room of the Being Human house.Ìý Lenora's made a brew, Russell's put a bit of The Smiths on the stereo (RIP Gilbert...) and Aidan is removing a bit of fluff from his fingerless gloves.Ìý

Ìý

Then they turn to you and say "Right. Being Human... what do you want to know?"Ìý

Ìý

Sounds good right?Ìý Well, that's what's happening right here on the blog, because we're puttingÌýsome of YOUR questions directly to Aidan, Russell and Lenora over the next few days.Ìý We'll then reveal allÌýin three exclusive video interviews at the start of next week...Ìýepisode six may finish on Sunday but the blog will still be delivering all sorts of post-series goodies to help you cope with the withdrawal symptoms.

Ìý

So what do you want to know?Ìý Does Russell always do that high-pitched squeaky thing when he's surprised?Ìý Has Lenora ever seen a real ghost?Ìý Is Aidan's accent real??Ìý (Actually, the answer to that last one is yes.)Ìý Whatever you're question, add it as a comment below.Ìý The BH Blog team will be sifting through your responses and willÌýput as many of themÌýas they can to the cast. So make sure your questionÌýrocks and who knows, you might get a direct response right back!

Ìý

Aidan will be the first in the hot seat tomorrow, so get writing as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.Ìý And before you ask, no, we can't give him your phone number...

Ìý

Ìý

**UPDATE** Thanks for the amazing responses!Ìý This feature is now closed... click here to see the final videos from Aidan, Lenora and Russell.

Can't believe I am the first comment and not the herd of screaming Mitchell-mad girls on the forum! :-) Hi Aidan my fellow Irishman (I'm from Enniskillen), I've got a conundrum for you along the lines of the popular snog, marry, avoid game - but vampire style! So you get 3 girls and you have to marry one, live happily ever after etc, the other one you get to spend 2 weeks on a cruise with nobody else there so you have their company full-time and no way to avoid them, and finally the other its a vampire sh*g .. i.e. you give them the Lauren treatment at the end. And your choice is the similar-in-style pop trio of Lily Allen, Kate Nash, and Katie Perry. Go on Aidan - answer this one for sh*ts and giggles ;-)

  • Comment number 2.

"Does Russell always do that high-pitched squeaky thing when he's surprised?"

*snorts* Can we please get that as a freebie question? Ah, go on..

  • Comment number 3.

Mitchell's almost immortal, could be killed but cannot naturally die, but which would *you* chose - mortality or immortality - and why?

  • Comment number 4.

Omg this is so amazing. I've been thinking I'd love to ask the cast some questions but now it comes to it i can't actually think of any.

Okay off the top of my head i guess the most obvious one would be: What would they rather be a vampire, werewolf or ghost?

What attracted them to the roles?

And for Aidan tomorrow, what is his favourite thing about playing a vampire?

Oh and if he was a ghost who would he haunt?

If i think of any more i will be sure to post them. Hehe sorry if i give you loads.

Thanks so much for this opportunity and can you please pass on to the cast how much we love their work.

  • Comment number 5.

Can Mitchell go indefinitely without drinking any human blood from a live human? If so, is blood-drinking in this 'verse more in the nature of an addiction than a survival need? Do vampires who kill more get stronger? Does Mitchell need human food or does he just like it?

  • Comment number 6.

Were you fan of vampire culture before you took on this role? If so, what did you read/watch?

  • Comment number 7.

omg this is such a great idea!
i want to know is how did the actorss/atress get into acting?

if they could be any fantasy creature what would that be?

    and for russel
do u get embarassed being naked in being human or did you just get used to it?

  • Comment number 8.

Lol damn i was gonna ask if hed marry me but if you wont even give phone numbers... lol ok must remember im not a teenager anymore...so on a serious note erm
    1) what do you want to do after being human? (well after series 3 or 4 hopefully! :-)) theatre? film? more TV? and do you fancy serious or comedy?

    2) A bit more of a silly question i suppose - what do you think of Mitchells style? Weve only ever seen you in costume even in interveiws on here etc do you quite like the look or not?

Ok last one :-) 3) You're certainly more recognizable over here since the show how are you taking to this? Do you like it? Have you got gaggles of teenage girls chasing you down the street yet?

And lastly - not really a question but whoever is doing the interview just tell him we think hes brilliant - extemely talented and funny (and i know it gets said a lot but pretty easy on the eyes) and no way is Ireland getting him back now lol and please nobody tell Hollywood...

  • Comment number 9.

I've got a couple of questions for Aidan.
    What are your favourite bands/singers?
And how do you think the relationship between George and Mitchell will develop (if there is a 2nd series), finger crossed.

  • Comment number 10.

If you had to be a vampire, a ghost or a werewolf which one would you be and why?

Who is your favourite character? (not including Mitchell :P)

Which scenes do you find most difficult to act?

And is Mitchell's taste in music and fashion sense, differ alot from yours?

Could you also let him know me and a whole bunch of fangirls at school think he is extremely talented and gourgeous XD

  • Comment number 11.

Aidan - How did you approach the role after you got it? Did you do research about vampires? What's the most challenging part about playing a vampire? Favorite scene from series one?

Russell - How long does it take to "transform" you into a werewolf? What's the process like for doing the transformation scenes? What are the differences for you in working in a TV series and working in the theater? Do you approach your character differently in both mediums? What are the similarities between you and George?

  • Comment number 12.

    Aidan,

You did a fantastic job portraying Mitchell. You are an exceptionally talented actor and I hope we see much more of you on Being Human as well in other shows and movies in the future.

You breathed life (pardon the pun) into Mitchell and have created a multi-dimensional character that people care deeply about. What did you find most challenging about this particular role and what did you personally take away from playing this character?

    Thanks!

  • Comment number 13.

Have you liked how your character has developed in the series and would you sign up to do a second series?

Do you think anything would happen between annie and mitchell if there was a second series?

  • Comment number 14.

Aiden, haven't I seen you on Irish tv somewhere???

  • Comment number 15.

Aidan, I'd like to know whether you think Mitchell regrets "recruiting" Bernie and perhaps now wishes he hadn't?

Are you, personally, a fan of supernatural fiction of any kind? And if so, what have you enjoyed reading or watching?

  • Comment number 16.

Question for Russell: Do you want to goto Duckie on Sataurday?
Alternativly, next time you're in Brighton do you fancy a pint?

    :)

  • Comment number 17.

First off what a brilliant series. ( hopefully)
Second a question for the gorgeous Aiden, is there any friction between the actors or do you all get on?
Oh come on everyone likes a bit of gossip.
And how do you feel about Russell getting his kit off all the time, are we gonna see you in the buff??

  • Comment number 18.

Did you ever imagine that you could be so influential in your acting career as to be able to increase the sales of fingerless gloves by 200%?

Have you got any "Twilight" vampire girl stalkers outside your house yet?

Did you laugh when you first read the plot of this series?

  • Comment number 19.

aww what? we cant even ask if he'll give us a quick bite??? no fair :)

hmm my questions would prob be do you like playing mitchell? what attracted you to his character? and where would you like to see his character develop in series 2? (please god let there be one!)

also, apart from acting what are your other passions in life? and yes you do have to say that the being human fans are a passion!! lol!

  • Comment number 20.

    Hello Aidan,

First of all I would like to thank you for your huge contribution to a show that gives us viewers something decent to watch!
I don't watch tv much these days due to an overload of reality programmes so it's nice to have something I actually look forward to!!

Me and my Fiance have been watching the show religiously. There is a great mix of comedy and emotion that is perfectly balanced.

So...to my question - How do you get into character and what part of Mitchell's personality do you mostly associate with?

Keep up the good work! Here's to more great telly!

  • Comment number 21.

That was to Aiden Turner by the way. I'm still thinking about important and probing questions for Tovey and Crichlow.

  • Comment number 22.

Russell- Did u make a point of playing your character geeky and soft so u didn't fit the typical werewolf mold like Tully?

  • Comment number 23.

    @Lenora
In your opinion, what would have be the worst possible clothes Annie could've died in? Would you have coped with 6-inch heels?
Did you have any input into Annie's very endearing peculiarities - e.g. constantly making tea?

    @Russell
Your whole 'screaming agony' during transformations is pretty damn convincing - how do you practice something like that?

    @Aidan
What was your most embarrassing moment during filming?
What vampire cliche do you dislike the most, and was there anything like it in the script?

  • Comment number 24.

Fantastic series, really excited for episode 6!

So, just a cheeky question. We all know Annie makes a lot of tea, and it got me wondering - who out of the cast has the worst eating habits?

  • Comment number 25.

Curses, well, I can only think of some questions for Lenora right now.

First off, how sick are you of having to wear the same grey outfit for an entire series?

How did you feel about taking a role that had already been played by another (almost like becoming the next Doctor) and did that concern you?

Finally, would you have chosen to do the hauntings differently if you were in Annie's situation?

  • Comment number 26.

my question for Aiden Turner would be if you could have the chance to play any other vampire be it film/books/tv which would you play and why?
    2) or if you could be any other supernatural being what would you be?

and to just say thankyou for do such a great job its been a pleasure to watch you every week

  • Comment number 27.

I can't believe noone has asked this yet -

To Aidan and Lenora: Did you realise how massive the pilot had been before you took on the roles? If so, were you nervous about taking on roles which had previously been played by other actors? Did you watch the pilot to see how the previous actors had portrayed the roles, or did you feel it best to just read the script and give it your own spin?

From a viewer's point of view, and a fan of the portrayals in the pilot, I must admit that I was concerned to start with. But I think you have both brought something new and wonderful to the roles, so well done and thank you.

To Russell: Were you aware of the success of the pilot before agreeing to return for the series? Were you initially concerned that the chemistry and characters would change with the change of cast or were you excited?

Truly gifted actor by the way, thank you.

To all three: Have any of you looked at the discussions on the fan forums, or do you prefer not to know what is being said?! (or have better things to do ha ha). Have you been surprised at the massive fan response or the show?

If these questions are answered, thank you in advance :-)

  • Comment number 28.

*for the show, not or the show, sorry

  • Comment number 29.

Aidan- Toby's mentioned previously about why he chose and discarded certain vampire myths. Are there any you'd have liked included that weren't? And are there any other mythical beings you'd like to see in (hoping there'll be some) future series?- Genevieve

  • Comment number 30.

Okay these are from a friend who's computer has just broken, posting on her behalf.

Aiden- Had you seen the pilot episode before taking on the role, if so how did it feel playing a character that had already been portrayed by another actor? Did they ask you to keep the character similar to how Guy portrayed Mitchell?

Also now that George has a girlfirend would you like to see Mitchell in a relationship and if so would it be someone human or supernatural?

Thats about it, on a silly note, both me and my friend think most of the worlds problems could be sorted with a Mitchell!Hug! :D

Jewels (+ Bexy who's computer is broken:()

  • Comment number 31.

Can you see any of yourself in Mitchell?

Do you enjoy playing the good vampire or do you secretly wish for a few more opportunites to play a really evil monster.

If you could nick a prop from the set as a momento, what would you take?

Do you have any geeky shameful secrets - ie a signed & framed photo of Debbie McGee, or are you an avid collecter of Morris Dancing magazines?

  • Comment number 32.

    Aiden -

    so, series 2, you in???

and are those gloves not a bit ewwwwwww by now!?

  • Comment number 33.

If you could write your own role for the second series (please let there be one) - what sort of exciting experiences would like to have in store for Mitchell.

  • Comment number 34.

Is there any scenes you would hate/be afraid to act. having to walk through a cellar filled with of spiders & rats, or lie in coffin or a flashback to Mitchell parachuting from WW1 aircraft?

  • Comment number 35.

This one's for Lenora - with all these adoring females bigging up Aidan and Russell I think it only fair I try and redress the balance :-) Just to say how great you look in the series for someone who has been dead for quite some time! My fav part so far was when you delivered the monologue that put the heebie-jeebies up Owen .. that wicked look you gave the camera over Owen's shoulder .. my my *blush* Anyway so here's my question for you. If you were to be a ghost for 24 hours how would you make use of the powers of invisibility, being able to appear at will anywhere on earth, etc. And if you were to haunt any ex-loves, who would it be and what did they do to earn it? (grrr let me loose on them!). Hope to see more of you in series 2 and other shows, good luck with a hopefully long and distinguished acting career.

  • Comment number 36.

It's no reflection on Lenora or Russel! All three actors are ace! - Most of the Qs are directed at Mitchell 'cause he's up to answer them first tomorrow, so we/ve got to get them in quick.

  • Comment number 37.

Hiya! I love being human! And Aidan Turner
is here tomorrow! Ah! Share the blood! So question for Aidan and the others:

Can you tell me your knowledge on vampires?

    Thanks! And also:

Can ghosts walk back from the light?

I will freak if you reply! I love being human!
I never miss it! I don't want anything to change! Ok thanks! Bye! :D

  • Comment number 38.

    Aidan, Russell, Lenora:

Have you had any weird or cool fan recognition moments?

How did you hear about and get your role?

What were your first impressions of the other two?

  • Comment number 39.

First like most people I just want to say well done for portraying the characters so well! I actually cant pick my favourite character because I love them all so much!!!

Aiden - What was your favourite scene to film? Do you prefer the simple funny scenes in the house with Russell and Lenora or the more action filled scenes the running from the other vampires?

I will have to post again with questions for Russell and Lenora when its their turns :)

  • Comment number 40.

First off please can you tell them all how amazing I think the show is.

    Ok, questions..

    For all three:
How does it feel to be part of a show that has been so phenomenaly well recieved in its first series? Are you shocked by the reaction to it?

Have any of you read the discussion about the show across the internet? Is it strange to inspire such a fast growing and fanatical fandom? Any thoughts on fanfiction? (OT3 *cough* )

Aidan: What IS the fingerless glove thing about? Lauren had some too, so there must be a reason for it.

Russell: Did you know you had something special when you first read the script for the pilot?

Any chance of a James Corden cameo in YOUR show next series?

Lenora: You had some pretty big boots to fill when you took over the role of Annie, but you have done amazingly well making Annie your own.

What did you make of the fact that this ghost would be visible and solid when this is very different from trafitional images of ghosts?

    Can't wait for Kickass!annie btw.

(look how good I was, didn't mention Russell's bum or offer to have Aidan's babies...well done me! lol)

  • Comment number 41.

Aidan: Given Mitchell's long life, is there any particular period of time you'd like to act out in flashbacks?

  • Comment number 42.

Are there any other vampires from book or film you would have liked to have played? Lestate from the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles is a firm favourite of mine.

  • Comment number 43.

    lol sperkii snap.

  • Comment number 44.

We're told that it was Mitchell's idea for him and George to work in the hospital; but given Mitchell's long life, what other jobs does Aidan think he might have had? Does he have a good idea of how Mitchell might have spent his time on the earth so far?

  • Comment number 45.

We're all coming up with the same questions!!

  • Comment number 46.

Woah how many questions?! One more lol .... I know filming varies a lot from day to day and in Lenora's video diary you said you'd been running down the stairs all morning :-) so I was just wondering do you prefer the days where its a bit calmer and you're just running down stairs or walking down the street etc or do you prefer it when you get to do fight scenes or something with a bit more umph :-)

Also a bit of a "what if" question rather than a serious one :-) Mitchell has obviously been around for a long time - is there any time in history you'd have chosen to live through? Wartime? Or he 60's maybe? :-) (thatd be mine - really wish id been around in the 60s)

  • Comment number 47.

I am in need of advice and I think Russell is the best guy to ask.

Why i need his advice is in a letter i sent to him a week ago C/O Sue Terry Voices if Russell get to see the letter i sent its the one bound in black like a book.

"As you must know by now i am a bit of a fan of Russell Tovey.

When he was in The History Boys in New York i whent there and back in 48 hours just to watch him in it.

As i said befor i have see a lot of thing with him in.

Every thing he is in is made all the better for him being in it.

To me Russell Tovey is the best actor in the world and i think that he is better in every way there is than any of hollywoods so called stars

I think he is like a light in a sea of darkness and i hope that the light never gose out.

I dont know if he ever looks at this blog but I hope that he will see this.

Wether he knows it or not he has a verry loyal friend

by the way i am Robert"

  • Comment number 48.

aidan- what would you like to see happen to mitchell, annie and george individually if theres hopefully a series 2?

also which has been your favourite scene or episode to do in being human so far and why?

  • Comment number 49.

    Ooh this is fun!

    My questions to Aidan:
    1. If you could have any super power what would it be and why?
    2. Is there a practical joker among the cast, who is the funniest on set?
    3. If you had the chance to work alongside any actor in your career, who would it be?

Will definitely be back when it's Russell and Lenora's go!

  • Comment number 50.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this hidden gem of a series, and hope that the Ö÷²¥´óÐã see's fit to let it get a larger audience by playing it on Ö÷²¥´óÐã2 or even 1. Also plelase please don't let this be the only series.

  • Comment number 51.

    Hi Aidan,

As you know by my username I ADORE you!

I love you soooo much I named a character in my book after you!

    My question is:

What is it like to "be" a vampire and to be an actor?

Your Secret (or not so secret! lol!) Admirer xxx

  • Comment number 52.

No.. I can't think of anything remotely interesting, probing or even relevant.

Lenora- What should be my next ipod music download?
Oh also, I was going to buy some Uggs (they're on sale!), after wearing them (or very similar ones) non-stop during filming you'd be the rest to give me a full review of them. To buy or not to buy?

Russell- How do you cope playing such a muppet as George? Can you tell me how long it took you to notify the police after reading number 47's comment above?

  • Comment number 53.

lol superOchre I was thinking the same. I think no 47 is barry george in disguise he he

  • Comment number 54.

    Firstly hello Aidan

We have all seen how successfully you have portrayed Mitchell's constant struggle to avoid feeding/killing. Have you ever had to battle an addiction yourself?

    Thank you, Carly

  • Comment number 56.

Aiden ...are you a method actor...did you hang out with Goth types to get the feel of 'the living dead' :0) or just watch a few classic Vampire movies and take it from there ?

Russell..were those real tears when Lenora was about to "exit stage left" through her heavenly door ?

Aidan - great character, Mitchell's wonderful. My question is this:

Crikey! The TARDIS is in the living room, and you've got the chacne for one trip anywhere in time and space. Where/when would you go, and why?

Im studying gcse drama and am going on to study performing arts in 6th form, And as much as i would like a career in acting i dont wanna pin al my hopes on it, so im thinking of drama teaching :)

I would like to know if a second series is going to happen?

Also I think the cast do a fantastic job Keep up the good work pleeeaaase!! XD

  • Comment number 61.

Hi I love this show so I have a question for each of you:

Aidan: Your character is definitely the coolest (not to mention the fittest). Are there any characteristics of Mitchell that you see in yourself? Obviously not the blood-sucking...

Russell: Your character is not exactly the king of cool, however he is the most likeable of the three, but is George a fun character to play, and have you grown attached to playing the part?

Lenora: You have won everyone over with your brilliant and emotional acting as Annie, but what inspired you to go for the part in the first place?

All: I am hoping to become an actress myself, do you have any tips for getting a role, or acting in general?

    Cheers
    xxx

  • Comment number 62.

After reading some of the comments on these forums, I could be forgiven for thinking I had accidentally wandered onto 'Iamacelebritystalker.com' or 'celebrityMatch.com' !!

  • Comment number 63.

    OK. questions for Aidan:

    1. If you could have a part in any film or TV series (if its an old one it could be remake!) what would it be and why?

    2. Who/what inspired you to start acting? Whats the best part of being an actor? And the worst?

    3. Whats your favourite drink (of the alcoholic variety)?

    4. What do you like to do in your spare time?

    5. Will you marry me? (Sorry I had to throw that one in lol)

  • Comment number 64.

agreed, some of these questions/comments are getting a little scary.

these are actors guys, real people.

  • Comment number 65.

however, i love the marriage question!!haha!

  • Comment number 66.

#62 sperkii! you just made me laugh tea out of my nose! how attractive..

  • Comment number 67.

First of all, second series. . . yes please :D

    Question time :)

General questions to any or all of the cast (:

    1. Did you all think you suited the right roles, if not, which roles did you want?
Would you have liked to try a different role?

    2. Did you have any 'monsters under the bed' when you were little, anything you were afraid of? (Apart from the odd spider ;) )

    3. And lastly if you hadn't been offered a role in 'Being Human' and you saw it on TV, would you watch it?

Thankyou all for a brilliant show and look foward to another series! ;)

  • Comment number 68.

If you knew you were going to die and come back as a ghost what would you wear taking into account you would be wearing it until you sorted your unresolved issue, so could be for a very very long time?

Also i read somewhere that the cast all had to share flats right by each other so i was wondering how that was?

Also any gossip from the set would be appreciated. So any embarrassing incidents or anything like that?

Oh and this is mainly for Lenora but can be directed towards Aidan and Russell as well: In Being human Gilbert and Annie had different doors symbolising death, perhaps representative of their personalities, what would your door look like if you were a ghost and it came for you?

Finally, for Aidan, if you were Mitchell do you think you would be able to resist the temptation of the blood?

  • Comment number 69.

Wow, first of all thank you so much to the being Human team for allowing the fans this wonderful opportunity!

Secondly, a BIG UP to Aidan, Russell and Lenora - I think you are all doing a truly brilliant job and I honestly look forward to this show every week - what am I going to do with my Sunday nights after next week??!

Ok, thinking cap on then to use this opportunity wisely and ask some thought=provoking questions...

    TO AIDAN:
    1. I'm interested in where you think Mitchell's defiance of the vampire society has come from - do you think anything specific has happened in Mitchell's past to make him want to 'be human'?

2.What input into Mitchell (if any) did you have - i.e. characteristics, style, costume, mannerisms etc...

    3. Do you think Mitchell will ever be able to give up blood forever and live as a human?

    4. Would it ever be possible for Mitchell to find love with a human, or would this be too tough on his addiction?

    6. How do you think Mitchell has spent his 'life' as a vampire so far, for example, how long has he been in Bristol? Do vampires have to move around every 10 years or so, so the rest of humankind doesn't get suspicious?

    7. Last one - promise - do you have any new projects on for when this series of Being Human ends - what will we see you in next?

I shall give some thought to questions for Russell and Lenora - just wanted to get my ones to Aidan in quickly before tomorrow!

    Thanks in advance

starrywonderfulabi, thank goodness you agree; the concept seems to have escaped some. Have to say the 'will you marry me' thing made me laugh too though.

    Also, I do apologise, superOchre!

I just wanted to say I can actually count (I inadvertently missed out number 5 in all the excitement!!!!) lol

  • Comment number 72.

One more thing for all the main cast....having seen your wonderful dancing on an earlier blog would any of you consider doing Strictly Come Dancing, or another reality show? Which ones would you/wouldn't you consider, and why?

  • Comment number 73.

I just want to say too all 3 of you actors. You were all bloody fan(g)tastic. I reckon this is going be a massive cult show and is going to catapult the lot of you stratospheric. The standards of the storylines, the characters and the awesome acting made this the best show out there for quite some time.Get used to not only being human but being super human. The world is your oyster, I tells ya.

Aidan : What has been your favourite acting role to date, and what role would you love to play?

Do you see your future in theatre, film or TV, predominantly?

How would you descibe Mitchell's relationship with Annie, as opposed to his relationship with George?

Guys this has been an amazing first series. Sunday nights had us on the edge of our seats, and i might add stunned into silence at the ending! With this show you have managed to capture the interest of such an age range. In our family alone you cover myself at 39, my husband at 36, my daughter at 23 and also our youngest dauhgter (who i might add due to her age, 7, doesn't actually watch the show but knows everyone in it!!)and we all love it! At school the staff room is buzzing with talk of the show aswell! And you've crossed many age ranges there too!!I promise you there has never been anything on tele that has got us all involved before! I really take my hat off to the writers, it's just so clever. When Mitchell was telling us about Georges transformation at the start of one show, and the vampire porn dvd, just so clever. We have grown so fond of each character. Please tell us you are all doing another series? We'll really miss watching this. Annie is such an endearing character. George is so funny, and Mitchell...well even at 39 i have to admit .. Cor!! And all so very funny and loveable too. I love Nina aswell, lets not forget Nina. Just superb. If i could hand out awards i would. Well done to you all for a fantastic first series. Long may you provide us with more. More Ö÷²¥´óÐã. More.

Just one more thing. Aidan if you were Mitchell and a vampire. Would you have watched Interview with A Vampire and if so would you have turned young Bernie into a blood sucker.

  • Comment number 77.

    Hi Aidan!

So, blatantly the most important question -what is it with the fingerless gloves?! Are they part of your own style or do they make you wear them? As a fingerless glove aficionado I totally applaud them :D

What would you like to see happen to your character in a second season? Will you kill again?! Do you think Mitchell and Annie should get together?

And if you had to be a vampire and be effectively frozen at a certain age for all of time, what point in your life would you like to be immortalised at?

    Spanks! Natalia xxx

I'd like to ask Mitchell how tall is he? and could I have his number?...that's all. Thank you love Em x

  • Comment number 79.

    Greetings, folks.

Obviously I quite enjoy the show - which surprises me a bit, as I tend to shy away from the whole modern good-guy-vampire/werewolf thing. That said, the writing on Being Human is *so* good that I'm willing to suspend my disbelief just *once* more. Every week. ("Get your lead", honestly, that was superb...)

I must add my voice to the others, in that you are all doing grand acting jobs. Forgive my ignorance, but I have not seen Aidan (and what a grand actor you are and all, lad) or Lenora (loved the gestures with the parsley grinder, marvellously true to life) in other shows.

Russell, on the other hand, I have seen in some of my faves - Dr Who, Ashes to Ashes, Little Dorrit, fine turns in each, though Chivery was superb. Perfect blend of emotions for the character, marvellous work. Really my question is for him - how do you enjoy the (relative) lightness of George, after rather heavier parts? Is it more of a challenge to let all the rip-roaring emotions loose, or to underplay more delicate roles?

Keep up the grand work, folks, and I too hope for a second series. And thanks for all the fun...

  • Comment number 80.

Oh, just a little aside - being Irish do you think there's call for a leprechaun character in Being Human?! Haha x

  • Comment number 81.

Hi Aiden!!! Hopefully you actually get to read this, had a Media A-Level mock today... eughhhh.

Anyway, just have to say I think you are an amazing actor, and have made Mitchell my favourite vampire character EVER... sorry Spike, and don't even mention Edward bloody Cullen. Anyways, I digress, to the question

First of all, I hope you don't mind me asking, but
    how old are you?
I can't find your age anywhere, unless you really are a vampire and therefore immortal and therefore so old that your age would not be in-
    sorry, again with the digressing.
Next question, what has your family and friend's reactions been to Being Human, hopefuly they are proud... they should be lol.
Thanks so much, appreciate it loads, xx Koy.

  • Comment number 82.

Oh my God. What was the secret Annie told Owen? Lookes like Mitchell knew?

  • Comment number 83.

Oh my god... so embaressed, I was just chortling at the people who spelt Aidan's name ''Aiden'' and I just did it myself... Forgive me, oh Immortal One, I am not worthy. Now If I could just find where I put my Box of Shame, so I could store that moment in. Thanks. Koy.

    To all the cast:
Do you like the paranormal that you play? Do you ever envy one of the other actors and want to play one of the other "creatures"?
    Incredible show.
    Many thanks!
    Exism.

  • Comment number 85.

Yay! I'm so excited the fans get to write questions to the cast! Well, here goes my fun question for Mitchell/Aidan:

If your character, Mitchell, was stuck on an island, who would you prefer to be stuck with: Annie or George?

The same for Lenora and George, respectively:

If your character, Annie, was stuck on an island, who would you prefer to be stuck with: Mitchell or George?

If your character, George, was stuck on an island, who would you prefer to be stuck with: Mitchell or Annie?

Haha, thought that would be fun to ask! I love those types of questions!

  • Comment number 86.

    Wow this is so exciting!

Aidan- if you were really a vampire would you choose to abstain from killing humans for food or do you think that the temptation would be too great?

Secondly just out of interest, who is your favourite singer/band?

    Thanks in advance, Clarice :)

  • Comment number 87.

PsionicP3 - I just googled Aidan re your question and wikipedia says he was born in the same year as me (1983), making him 25. How accurate that is though, I have no idea.

  • Comment number 88.

Ok, hoping this will be posted in time, having finally managed to access the blooming thing! (Long, and uninteresting story of my own incompetence I'm afraid...)

Thanks for this opportunity, guys, 'tis brilliant.
I know I echo many when I say the show is completely brilliant. Aidan, Lenora and Russell; thank you so much for such wonderful performances! And Toby- thanks for creating something so ace!

Right then, my questions for Aidan (probably already asked by some quicker technophile),

    1) Which scene in the series was your favourite to film, and why?

    2) Can you sum up next week's finale in five words or less?

    3) Who do you think has most inspired you as an actor and in your life?

    4) What do you like to do when you're not filming?

    5) What was your favourite television programme/ book/film as a child? What's your favourite programme/book/film now?

    6) You're as effortlessly cool as Mitchell in real life, right? ;)

Thanks very much once again! :D

  • Comment number 89.

Oh thanks sperkii!!! I was trying to find it everywhere, thanks again... wait hold up, if he was born in '83, then that means there is a two year age difference between the Chosen Trio
    Russell - 1981.
    Aidan - 1983.
    Lenora - 1985.
Sorry, just had to point that out. xx

    Erm, so, um, deep question.

What's been really, really playing on my mind since day one is this:

Where does Annie's top come from? I love it. I have been watching the top from day one.

    /shallow

Obviously great acting etc, will be properly gutted when the series ends. I'm just not thinking about it :)

Hello i'm a big fan of the show, i thought all 3 of the charaters were great. Why do think Mitchell didn't take Lauren under his wing after turning her into a vampire?

  • Comment number 93.

Hey! This one's for Aidan. Just wondering if the decision to make Mitchell an Irish vampire was a deliberate one or just happened because you're an Irish actor? Currently researching on relationship between literary vampires and national identity and Bram Stoker's (author of Dracula)Irishness is really important. So if you answer my question you'd really be helping me out and I will finally be able to justify my watching 'Being Human' as time spent doing research! :)

  • Comment number 94.

wow! big up george,he is my favourite character (come on, he is gorgeous!!!) but lenora plays it so well! i did really believe she lost her love, so well acted! your expressions are spot on - think you nailed it! and no dress changes!!!

  • Comment number 95.

can i please be an extra on series two??? i live in bristol x

  • Comment number 96.

    'nother one -

What would Mitchell make of modern vampire literature such as Twilight, which romanticizes and sugarcoats old vampiric lore? Would he find it amusing, offensive, or something else altogether?

I always imagine Seth to be totally geekily into it, and Herrick to possibly have taken advantage of it, but I'm not sure about Mitchell.

  • Comment number 97.

Thank you so much to the Ö÷²¥´óÐã, Julia Gardner, Toby Whithouse and everybody else who made this possible. Now that I've gotten over my shock and exclaiming pure joy all around, I would like to direct this next question to Russell Tovey.

Ruuuuuuselllllll, where is your favorite bar or club hangouts in London? Or your favourite holiday spots in the world? Btw, just saw your interview on Platform Tv. I think you DAZZLED the s**t out of the interviewer, Emma because she was giggling through it all like a schoolgirl tripping out on candy. The questions didn't make much sense too. LOL. But I can't hold it against her. YOU DAZZLE US, TOVEY. Edward Cullen has nothing on you.

P.S. One last thing. Just wanted to say thank you to Toby Whithouse, this time for answering my very first question. I'm sorry I seemed rude the first time around. Ack.

  • Comment number 98.

I know Toby hasn't seen Buffy, but have you, the actors, seen it?
Aiden, have you seen Spike in Buffy and taken from him? You both smoke, after all...
Do you, Aiden, smoke in real life?
I'll ask more to Russell and Lenora later. :)

  • Comment number 99.

Hi and thank you for accepting to answer questions like that!
My question is for any / all of you:
Obviously we are all big fans of the series (we would not be there having RSS feed on the Being Human blog otherwise… ? ) do you have time to watch much TV, and if yes are a you fan of any series, past or present of course. If yes which one(s) and why?

Thank you once again for a great show and great performances!

  • Comment number 100.

Hi Aidan, hope I get this question in before the deadline. As an Irishman living in Bristol (here 2 years) I have had much fun trying to get with their unique sayings and accents. I presume making the show you have spent some time in Bristol, so what so you think of the place? And which of their little Bristol-isms do you find funniest?
