Oh no. This is bad. This is very bad.

Nina, Annie and George have been swallowed up by 'the facility' and Mitchell, their only hope of rescue, is going through the darkest, most murderous phase of his life. Never before have our foursome been in such a desperate position. But the worst thing? They have no idea of the danger they're in.

So with the facility looking like it'll be a crucial location in episode eight, we've gone behind the scenes to find out more about this mysterious place.

And don't worry, I'm sure they'll all be fine. They have to be fine. I mean, they will be fine... Right?

  • Comment number 8.

Such an amazing episode but seriously sad in so many parts!!
George transforming in the school nearly gave me a heart attack!! and the train- CREEEPPPPYYYY!
    Mitchell's having a bad day......

  • Comment number 9.

I don’t think George would have not realised about the clocks. He is always to careful.

  • Comment number 10.

Yi, they're not giving much away are they?

  • Comment number 11.

    OMG- fantastic episode!!!!!!
sadly I have too much work to do- so no more blogging for me tonight but I look forward to tomorrow so that I can catch up of all the discussion
    But again- absolutely brilliant =]

  • Comment number 12.

Very, very minimal trailer for next week, but it's going to have to be Michell to the rescue.

  • Comment number 13.

OMG! What an intense episode! So many close calls and next week is the final crescendo!

  • Comment number 14.

I want Mitchell back not the monster from this episode. I can’t believe Ivan is dead :(:::…

  • Comment number 16.

Wow that was a good episode :-) Dying for next week to see what happens, but also don't want the series to end :-(

  • Comment number 17.

The drinking game totally failed, far too wrapped up in what was going on!

  • Comment number 18.

I didnt actually cry that episode but George - very sad :-( but I was far too excited by everything Mitchell and Daisy were doing lol not sure what that says about my state of mind but it really was bloody exciting wasn't it lol :-P

  • Comment number 19.

OMG, actually ZOMG is more accurate, what a brilliant ep.
    I miss Ivan*sobs*
Poor George(ahem, I'm stopping before I give too much away)

    ZOMG 0_0

(Is it next Sunday yet, I must know what happens)

  • Comment number 20.

Amazing episode! Such a lot going on, I don't want Annie to cross over... and the scene when George nearly transformed on the street was shot perfectly. I was actually shouting at the screen at some points but I don't think that Mitchell heard me tell him not to kill the pathologist! Poor Mitchell, this really was a spectacular fall from the wagon :/ CANNOT WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK!

  • Comment number 21.

i was right mitchell didnt just fall of the wagon he drove it into a brick wall lol. i love evil mitchell its like angel-angel mitchell miteleus i dont know. omg i loved it, will mitchell save him it was like one min hes all im good crying george you still my pal then...oi dog bbreath lol omg *breathes* wow u dint know about blood im addicted to being human

  • Comment number 22.

I'm going to watch it again at 11, it was a great ep, back on form thank God

  • Comment number 23.

That episode was just... omg, it was brilliant! I'm shaking right now - how the hell are they going to get out of that one?! That was a whole level up from last year's penultimate episode.... I can't think straight... that was AWESOME! Mitchell's gone to the dark side [though he looked lovely with it ;)], George started transforming at school, Annie might go to the other side.... oh wow!
Ok, and breathe..... how long until the next episode?!?!?!

  • Comment number 24.

So how is Michell going to find ... oh hang on, the business card that Kemp left for Annie.

  • Comment number 25.

brilliant episode but as said before sad in parts to.
last episode next week how am i going to get through the waiting again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment number 26.

I WANT OLD MITCHELL BACK THIS MITCH SCARES THE SHIZ OUT OF MEH :(

  • Comment number 27.

OMG! That was absolutely brilliant! The best yet! I do love badass Mitchell...I know I shouldn't...but I do!

  • Comment number 28.

well my opinion here goes my overview.

I was right about the flashback choice

the time is very important as he keeps asking the time you know it was going to be a race between George and the moon.

love the train sequence if we hadn't seen the wolf in the cage it would have been less obviously the vampires still good

the fact Molly was right about what happened wasn't explained maybe next series we will see someone explain precognition to us (seeing the future)

loved the bored faces during the exorcism

"You will not harm Lucy Jaggert" again by accident Mark saves sort of the day a question has he been living in the chapel

my view on Werewolves they are more primal than evil

and the fact that Mitchell seems to be forgetful is a clue to how much blood he's drank

  • Comment number 29.

If you drunk every time Mitchell did, you'd be pretty drunk by now.

  • Comment number 30.

    Wow that was amazing o.o
I LOVED the way Michel acted! I pleased hes back to feeding on blood, I like that, lol!
George!! Can't believe how he was! Great one, best one! :D

  • Comment number 31.

And I'm not so worried about Annie now, Kemp completely failed to get anywhere, either because she's far too strong or maybe he's never really done a sucessful exorcism but the ghosts were too polite to say anything? ;-)

  • Comment number 32.

    oh oh oh
    oh my god... how good...
    *speechless again*

  • Comment number 33.

Awesome episode but seriously if people keep commenting just with the number of their comment I'm gonna get all Daisy on your ass! Lol sorry but seriously grr!

Seems everyone thinks this is the best episode so far :-D think I agree so gonna have to try and record it on the repeat what times that?? Just watching the baftas I think let the right one in should've won it was a brilliant film

  • Comment number 34.

Mitchell has to save them, and they have to save Mithchell.

  • Comment number 35.

Not going to say too much because as usual I want to watch it a second time to catch all things I've missed ....but...

this was the most gripping episode of the series..Well done you Sir Toby! Verrrry sad about Ivan but not totally unexpected.

Feel very sorry for Sam and Molly...and George of course...russell playing a blinder as normal.

Did think that Daisy and Mitchell gettting down and dirty 'naked and covered in blood' would be rather more than it was..but....Mitchell in such an emotional turmoil now....loved that scene in the house with Mitchell, george and annie where Mitchell is flipping between the housemate Mitchell and the dark Mitchell.

and Lucy Jaggart..I'd get your passport and get out of the country now girl if I was you!

    Fantastic episode!

Oh..forgot to mention the vid..yes..very interesting about the old Money making place...thanks guys.

  • Comment number 36.

@ 29. So is that the drinking game - drink every time Mitchell drinks? lol Sounds like a good one - will have to try that some time!

@ 31 lol Thought it was a good scene - "Did we bring a door?"

  • Comment number 37.

You know I think it is significant that Lloyd was not in this episode or maybe I’m just obsessed with him because of his blogs.

  • Comment number 38.

oh yes and the Paroled Physic saying how powerful Annie is

  • Comment number 39.

It's weird, part of me is desperate for next week and part's going "NOOOO last episode!!!". It was nice to see the nice priest again. He's bucked up no end. None of the wimpy stuff in the last series... AM so glad Mitchell got Lucy's surname from him though... cause I didn't want him to die.

Does this mean there's going to be a bloodbath at the facility next week? (and will Mitchell find his humanity again?)... ARGH 7 days, ARGH LAST Episode... It'll be stuck to watching crappy reality TV till series 3

  • Comment number 40.

loved the episode....do you think george and nina are going to get back together next week (fingers crossed)
i loved how the thought of his friends being experimented on seemed to bring mitchell out of his high/drunk state
eeeppp!! can't wait for next week!!

  • Comment number 41.

& can't believe that Mitchell didn't know LucyBF's surname! What is he like?!

  • Comment number 42.

OMG eagle i'm with you- george + annie story slightly overshadowed for me simply becasue AT was SOoo amzing and mitchell and daisy were soooo waaaaaaaaaaaaa!! i loved the whoel killing thing- ok that makes me sound evil ,but i mean the mitchell letting go of himself needed to be explored :) and AT such a good actor! and daisy! she was great too! but ivan :( so was mitchell like drunk on blood at the end? or .. was a little confused as to what was happening there....
anddd only one episode to resolve it all in... :O :O this saddens me :( but all the same next week is gonna be an AWESOME EP :) :) :)

  • Comment number 43.

Notice that the trailer bit driving away from the house didn't match with what happened in the episode. I guess they had to throw in a random shot to replace Michell looking out of the window.

I wonder, will the subject of Michell come up and if it does will George let slip that he's still alive?

  • Comment number 44.

missed first 30 min now 2 watch.

Daisy is a bad influence on Mitchel, why cant they just kill the worthless people in society, starting with politicians and politicians
    and etc.

    Molly... yer still spooky!

Lucy BF - leave george and annie alone you MONSTER!

    SEE yawl in 30ish

  • Comment number 45.

I can't say I'm particularly surprised by the plot of the episode, it has to be what we were all hoping would happen right? I know I've wanted to see Mitchell and Daisy like that since the moment she first appeared! But even my huuge love for this show and trust in Toby to deliver the story in the best possible way did not prepare me for that.... Best episode yet? I think so. There was not a single part of that I didn't like.

Now I'm horribly torn between wanting to watch the next episode RIGHT NOW and not wanting to think about the fact that when we do, it's all over again!

  • Comment number 46.

Well the bit driving away from the house signifies the end of the house now that Annie has been getting used to wandering further and further away from it. They obviously won't be going back there again.

  • Comment number 47.

Firebird... that's what I was thinking when George recognizes Lucy.... he might slip that he's off the wagon too and ask her to help him or something.

Lycan... Mitchell is complettly off his trolley angry and isn't gonna check people's priors before killing them. Plus right now he seems to be thinking that the humans have turned on them, this is war and he's taking them ALL out.

  • Comment number 48.

And yea Molly is spooky isn't she? Sort of thought she might turn out to somehow know more than she lets on, but I kinda like how it went with her, can't think of a better way to get George back from that particular situation!

  • Comment number 49.

Dorina (35) Agreed....brilliant eppisode, one of the best yet of this series if not THE best!! Also loved the house episode where he got very, very weird with Annie...jeez I got quite worried at that point... Aidan Turner does very nasty, extremely well...rather too well!! Is extremely believable...and yet damned sexy with it....

Why do we always like bad boys?

  • Comment number 50.

    I am absolutely gobsmacked!!
What an episode!! Even my other half looked up to see what was happening!
Well, Poor Molly and Sam, hearing Molly's terified screams when she George was utterly heartbreaking.

Annie, asking for help! What the hell was that about! Glad they couldn't conjure up a door though.

Lucy is going to get some serious whoop-ass opened on her!

Mitchell and Daisy, fantastic together, but I just felt so disappointed in Mitchell for going down the Revenge and Vengance route.
    Fantastic performance!!

  • Comment number 51.

I think the tension of wondering if George would make it to the house or not was slightly spoiled by the shot of the wolf in the cage in last week's trailer. Bit of a shame but I was still on edge thinking he would run riot in a school.

Luckily nothing will be spoiled for next week, the traler gave nothing away. I have however seen the Episodes page. I'll say no more. :D

  • Comment number 52.

I like the fact that the leaving of Bristol is being used as an excuse to burn every bridge they can kill everyone make sure that there is no coming back.

one thought Mitchell skidding backwards on the ground says religious effect to me cross and stake anyone?

  • Comment number 53.

Woo! Mitchell is off the wagon big style. I know it's not good that he's out killing and stuff but mmmmmmMMMMmmmm, I like his dark side.

Anyone else feel they read our drinking game rules and wanted to get us drunk? It was like Real Hustle, Annie making Tea, Shirtless Mitchell. Drink after drink :P I wasn't playing though. Test tomorrow.

Awesome episode. So much stuff I thought of during the episode that I wanted to say but I can hardly think of anything now. Awesome episode. So sad to loose Ivan.

  • Comment number 54.

Wow Wow Wow loved this episode although I watched most of it through my cusion !!! don't know how I feel about George now ! was so scared he would kill a kid ! as for Mitchell - hating the new blood thirsty Mitchell so creepy - how is this going to end !!!! can't wait for next week !!!!!! xxxx

  • Comment number 55.

oh oh oh.... i dont know what to say ... what an amazing episode... honest to god, i was sooo scared (i know thats ridiculous, but my heart was going like crazy) ... YAY to nina being back, her and george have totally got to get back together next week. annie... she is just so comical i think she is fab. and mitchell - mitchell, mitchell, mitchell, whats goin on buddy! he defo has to save the day next week doesnt he???? cant believe next week is the last episode? omg what am i going to do? cant believe this! my head is scrambled atm, thank god i recorded the ep, wil have to watch it again in a mo i think... WOW!

  • Comment number 56.

My thoughts exactly Ewan with your comment 52. It makes all sense now that a possible fleeing from the facility out to the sticks as Mitchell says " Away from the cities".

  • Comment number 57.

Anyone find themself asking now, who is worse, Lucy or Mitchell?

Thought not. Obviously I'm rooting for Mitchell but he has been a bad, bad man.

  • Comment number 58.

Am I the only one who does not find dark Mitchell sexier than normal Mitchell? Don’t get me wrong Mitchell is the king of SEXY but I like him more when he is struggling to be good than when he indulges in his dark side.

  • Comment number 59.

Arg, to wait another week will be torturous (then to wait for the next season?!!)

Loved seeing this side of Mitchell, we've never really seen him like this, but nice Mitchell should come back soon :) Perving on Annie like that haha.

I wonder if we'll hear the message Annie left for the other two? Maybe in the last episode. It sounds like Annie is an unusually powerfull ghost, maybe why Kemp couldn't exorcise her? I would be worried.

As much as I dislike Lucy, I am slighlty worried for her safety now...

Would Nina not have mentioned Mitchell was still alive? Maybe they don't tell her everything though.

  • Comment number 60.

    57. True. Mitchell has turned now. Surely he's a monster and we SHOULD be rooting for the human Lucy to slay him. And yet we are rooting for the monster. Not even the monster gone good (certain "vegetarian" vampires) but the innocent people slaying monsters... does this make us less human? WOW this show has so many levels.

  • Comment number 61.

DeadlyFurniture, but Lucy betrayed Mitchell's trust & Mitchell hasn't betrayed anyone's trust.... Just killed a train load of people with a bit of help from Daisy :P I'm rooting for Mitchell too

  • Comment number 62.

OMG So scary I used to be in love with Mitchell but now would leg it as fast as i could as for Annie Oh bless she is too good to be true and George Help!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment number 63.

Michell's plan is simple, kill EVERYONE until he gets to Lucy. LOL! Hopefully he'll calm down a bit, find out where the facility is and put together a plan to get revenge AND rescue George.

I wonder if the killing on the train might be the thing Toby said would stretch our forgiveness to the limit? It was certainly on a par with a whole branch of Argos.

  • Comment number 64.

So next year the threat is "from within". Could it be this? Mitchell is going to have one massive come down, he's going to have to find himself all over again.

So why not go to wales? :D

  • Comment number 65.

the worst thing the very worst thing is that the end of episode trail hardly told us any thing and how hard it will be to even guess what happens next.

  • Comment number 66.

Fantastic performances by everyone in tonight's episode!

I'll just mention Mitchell once more: so very very sexy as bad ass Mitchell & fantastic acting by Aidan Turner. He does bad very well indeed! I was scared!

  • Comment number 67.

When Mitchell goes to the church and says "I'm looking for the doctor" did anyone else go "haha, Wales is the right place then" because Dr Who... no... just me... supergeek... sorry. :D

  • Comment number 68.

    (65) Don't you prefer it that way? Its so exciting, that episode left us with enough unanswered questions, we don't need the traler to whet our appetites for next time.

  • Comment number 69.

This comment was removed because the moderators found it broke the house rules. Explain.

  • Comment number 70.

Well we know why they have to move to Wales now. They can’t stay after this can they?

  • Comment number 71.

68 - I was half quoting the pilot

  • Comment number 72.

    (67) Stacey - I'm glad I'm not the only one with a geeky one-track mind! *grin* :)

  • Comment number 73.

I actually feel kinda wrong after watching that, although when the whole train thing happened I was thinking argh how can we ever forgive that... But I LOVE bad Mitchell, he's amazing. I know we're supposed to disagree with it all but... Well, Lucy deserves it doesn't she? And now Mitchell knows who she really is and that she has George and Annie, well let's just say I hope he doesn't go back to normal just yet... As someone just said up there ^ we've got all of series 3 for that!

  • Comment number 74.

Yes Stacey not just you with your comment 67 on Torchwood/Doctor Who lol.

  • Comment number 75.

I thought that about the Doctor too ;)

  • Comment number 76.

I still don't trust Molly. All bets off next episode. Mark is officially a criminally underused character/vicar. Ivan - NOOOOOOOO!!!

  • Comment number 77.

such a good episode!! I've been very slightly disappointed in the last 2 episodes, but when this week's started and I saw it was written by Toby, I was sure this was going to be a biggie--and OMG!! How good was that??? George transformaing in the school had me on the edge of my seat!! and I LOVED bad Mitchell (what does that say about me?). Scene of the train post-visit by Mitchell and Daisy was reminicent of a Buffy episode where Drusilla returned to Sunnydale by train and ate all the passengers!! There has been no series to even hold a candle to Buffy since it came to an end, but this beats it hands down. What a fantastic series!!

  • Comment number 78.

They probably figure that we've got plenty of material to guess with :-) I'm guessing that one way or another Lucy is going to find out that Michell is still alive before he finds her.

From the video above and what Daisy said about other fires we now know that CenSSA is a lot bigger than we've seen so far, so attacking the facility won't be a small job and it seems the vampires are down to just Michell and Daisy, unless he decides to go get Cara out of the tunnels. Even then, 3 against how many, and armed to fight vampires? On the plus side they've got a month before George gets murdered.

  • Comment number 79.

Worry not, bloggers...am sure Mitchell will regain his conscience and realise he's gone too far, because I've a feeling he's going to end up killing Lucy or Daisy is, and when/if that happens reckon he'll come to his senses....but looks like Bristol is a gonner...hence the move to Wales...

  • Comment number 80.

Agree that final episode will show the two sides to Mitchell....he will take revenge I think but not sure that will entail him killing Lucy..he'll continue to fight his inner demon ..and ultimately will be the one I think who gets them all out of Bristol. There will be some sort of a twist at the end of course in preparation for series 3 and I think it may involve Annie.

  • Comment number 81.

Nic (73) No I want good Mitchell back NOW! If he can save George and Anne and they can talk him down we can forgive Mitchell. If Mitchell kills Lucy and has no remorse for the people he kills then he truly will have become a monster. Even before he went blood free he felt bad about what he did. If he can’t find remorse soon then good Mitchell is dead.

  • Comment number 82.

Shows how immersed I was in this episode, 'the doctor' didn't even register with me, and it usually does. Funny that, maybe I'm a bigger BH fan than a DW fan :o I think I am.

Mark should totally join the house.

'A vampire, a werewolf, a ghost and a priest share a house in Cardiff'

  • Comment number 83.

Oh had a thought the enemy from within will be Vampires Vs Humans the war taking place and the only thing the general public know is mysterious deaths and explosions. EPIC

  • Comment number 84.

Thing is, if Mitchell had a strong reaction to the chapel, what will he be like if he storms into the CenSSA building? Lucy and Kemp have religious symbols all over the place!
I'm also still holding out for Lloyd to do something heroic!

  • Comment number 85.

Also thinking about Hennessey. He's not really part of CenSSA by choice is he, so I'm wondering if he's going to get tlaking to Annie and end up decideing to help.

  • Comment number 86.

Well, if they are coming to Wales, they can house share with me ANYTIME!! hahaha

  • Comment number 87.

I f NATASHA is reading this be afraid ba very afreaid

  • Comment number 88.

Rebecca (81) Oh I didn't mean he shouldn't come back at all! Just that he needs to be like that to storm that place and rescue the others. But he'll do it for them not for revenge. And then they can bring him back to the Mitchell who smiles again, because I've been really missing him this series. But if Lucy dies as collateral damage can't say I'd care. Would be better if she didn't, but had to live on knowing what she had caused.

  • Comment number 89.

Concentration of vampires seems to negate the effects

Seth in last season ep 5

"That wont work theres too many of us"

  • Comment number 90.

[31] And I'm not so worried about Annie now, Kemp completely failed to get anywhere, either because she's far too strong or maybe he's never really done a sucessful exorcism but the ghosts were too polite to say anything?

I don't think they'd pass the opportunity to test her strengths. Even Sykes had been mentioning her around the block.

She needs to give M&G a good speaking too - George didn't even thank her for taking him to the cage!

As for the 'threat from within', my money is on Nina or Annie, however could be way way off haha.

DeadlyFurniture - who is worse Lucy or Mitchell? That's a really good question! Lucy is kinda in the right (weird way of showing it) and obviously Mitchell's 'little' killing spree is just so wrong.

But I will always forgive him haha.

  • Comment number 91.

Dorina commeent 80. I think you're right on the button there. The emphasis seems to be on Mitchell and th epossibility of saving George and Nina, and possibily confronting Lucy. However that could be a nice little lull for Annie and unexpected "powerful" new presence/abilities to do something big. I'm sure her telekinesis powers must have tripled by now, enough to get them out of that secure facility!?!

  • Comment number 92.

piratemoose (84) I want Lloyd to help save the day as well.

  • Comment number 93.

    (82) ... for my benefit only can i change it to 'A vampire. TWO werewolves, a ghost and a priest share a house in Cardiff' ... reali want Nina in series 3!!!

  • Comment number 94.

86 Angharadann - lol - stock up on tea bags !!!

  • Comment number 95.

Either way, it's only onwards and upwards with this series, apologies to the mods and other readers, I didn't mean to offend in my previous post xxx

  • Comment number 96.

Nic (88) that makes more sense.

  • Comment number 97.

Lloyd's gone very quiet since blowing up the vampires. No written blog entries, no vlogs, too busy getting the chamber ready for George I supose :-p

  • Comment number 98.

93 - or if Daisy joins the team 2 vampires 2 werewolves a ghost and a priest

or if the house they find is haunted already 2 vampires 2 werewolves 2 ghosts and a priest

or if the ghost was a priest 2 vampires 2 werewolves 2 ghosts and 2 priests

  • Comment number 99.

    (93) I was going to include Nina, but I didn't want to temp fate, someone dies and I'm really afraid it will be her, I'd love it if it wasn't, can't see her forgiving Mitchell though. :/
