I think it'd be cool to see them in they were meant to be in...you know on some movie dvd's you have the option to watch the theatrical version or the extended version with all the deleted scenes in...but I suppose that'd take up too much room and be expensive wouldn't it...nice idea though :-P

Well that deleted scene wasn't a huge loss to the overall series!

I can see why this scene didn't make it in. I think they trimmed this storyline down admirably. It could have been quite confusing. As also would have been the questions we've been voicing over how Hugh heard Annie.

Still. A lovely little moment of hilarity.

Very nice to see another piece of the alternative story arc. I assume they had to reshoot some of the stuff that did make it into the ep to remove these, as the 'you came into my shop' line was still used just outside the German Cinema. It would be fascinating to know why the re-write and how often they have to do this...must be a nightmare when they find on edit they need to take things out and need to shoot alternatives to bridge the gaps.

annie is great in this LC does some good facial expressions - 'oops!' love that she hid all kirsty's clothes.

had a look at the blog archive and found the s1 ep1 script. hadn't seen it before. some of the script wasn't in the final edit. just read the line where Mitchell refers to Seth as 'milky and smelling of biscuits'-lmao!!

Good scene but I can see why it wasn't left in...it didn't add a lot and tho Annie was her usual "foot in mouth" self and funny, the rest of it wasn't really...unlike the previous two deleted scenes, it didn't grab me too much but I suppose there'll be a few like that which are still kept in...just a personal opinion there!

nice scene but can see why they didnt use it.

maybe it should of lasted a bit longer it just seemed rushed. hugh was funny would of loved george to of put more into that scene.

but great seeing all of these clips it makes my evening after a long day at work.

Watched it twice, Annies "oops" comment made me laugh both times.

I liked that scene and but thought it would have been even better with more George response, maybe a George/Hugh sham scuffle. But then I love anything George does, he has brilliant comic timing and just a naturally amusing mode of delivery. He is just an all round brilliant actor, thought he was amazing in Little Dorrit.
