  • Comment number 1.

Hello McNair welcome to being human

  • Comment number 2.

I can't see the video yet, but after watching the spoiler vid that us_thickies_at_the_hospital's semi spoiler vid from the other blog post I just want to declare that Being Human UK has the best music!

  • Comment number 3.

So one he's definitely met Mr Whitney that day. Don't know where I get that idea but he has.

Now is this flashback blood or season blood that has created the toffee apple effect

Scared? This is the being human blog we scare others. Still the thoughts of what will bee seen has pushed up my anticipation level a good few notches.

  • Comment number 4.

Greetings Mcnair, don't worry no one is laughing!!!

We're all so happy you've joined the best show on t.v, ever....!!!

    Thanks Team!!

  • Comment number 5.

    2. Regarding the music of Being Human, you took the words right outta of my mouth!!

Check out the link from the previous blog, its fab!!!

    Contains tiny spoilers!!

  • Comment number 6.

    Hi There,

Wasn't there mention, at some point, of a CD/download of the music being made available? Richard Wells' music is such an integral part of BH.

Thank you Dorina, FoxyLorri64, us_thickies, Ewan, and anyone else who's posted links.

  • Comment number 7.

    Awwww, this is soo sweet!!

  • Comment number 8.

Hi everyone, cheers for the link again Thickies. Few wee spoilers in there for me - I've been resisting so far! Really looking forward to having Herrick back - love the description on a previous blog of his 'genial malice' - think that sums him up really well - hope he hasn't changed!
Haven't read/seen too much about Robson Green's portrayal of McNair but seeing him bloodied up has got me really interested in his story and how he's going to fit in with the (mostly) peaceable George.
    Three days and counting!!!

  • Comment number 9.

5 - wow thank you thickies for the great video link!

No new spoilers for me there, but not one for Blog Annie...

Hello to all the new bloggers by the way. I am excited by all the newness - is there a reason for the sudden influx? Is something happening?!
Well it ain't for me unless my essay is completed by 9pm Sunday (this is how harsh I have to be) and that is why I haven't been here to say hello.

I do pop on and read, and have spent a fair amount of time working out percentages of Ewan per blog... I decided that data would only be worth it if I were to do a comparative study of all blogger percentages and then I realised that actually I am studying Renaissance Acting Companies, not statistical frequency of blog usage so I stopped. That is the point it's time to hit the books again.

Over breakfast this morning I did take time out to watch Hattie. What are our perspectives on haircut versus wig? I am leaning towards wig. I'm not ungrateful. I have always wanted to see the short-hair version because the hair does disturb me, and found I am only more disturbed by the obvious fact that long and (dare I say) greasy hair works better... What is wrong with most of us?!

  • Comment number 10.

I think it's the character rather than the hair... still, mass-murder isn't top of my list of attractive features in a man...

Flip I don't half fancy some chocolate all of a sudden? Annie, have you got any?

OK, ok, ok, no Sunday night tv unless I get on with the essay... I'm leaving now...

  • Comment number 11.

Evening bloggers and more newbies...yesss, this is what we need!

Wonderful video Mr P and team, lovely to see Robson Green joining the cast. Am hanging for Sunday tho, it's killing me.

I know it's not Ö÷²¥´óÐã3 but Aidan was excellent last night on Hattie...just sayin'. He gets away with the 60's look so well...for those who don't believe me, just check episode 5 of Season 2 of Being Human. White undies do suit him!

  • Comment number 12.

Evening lovely bloggers...and Mr P....nice to see Mr Green popping up here..and not for the last time I'll bet.

warwickshire rose...fairly sure that Aidan had a wig in Hattie..he started filming BH3 immedialtelt after filming Hattie and wouldn't have had time to grow it. Much prefer his 'normal' look I have to say. If you're interested I've just put up lots of pics of Aidan from last night's Hattie on Twitter.

  • Comment number 13.

for those outside the UK I link you

    enjoy

  • Comment number 14.

I don't think I will ever look at a toffee apple the same way again.

  • Comment number 15.

12 - Ah Dorina, thank you for confirming wig. I thought as much - it didn't sit right on the back of his neck. Not that I was staring at his neck. I will skip the photos thanks!

11 - Thought Aidan was horrible in Hattie, which means he was good at his job, but not an attractive entity... although he does seem to do seduction really well still... can't say that the white undies do it for me, despite him nailing the 60s. Have wanted to watch that BH ep all day...

I don't know what it says about my mindset this morning (probably still waking up) but a) I was convinced I saw Josie at one point during Hattie - turns out waking up brings hallucinations which I don't think I can spell; b) anyone else's eyes twinkle and mouth curl up when Aidan's character started his Hattie seduction by going straight for her neck?! My brain went "bite her!" and was slightly disappointed when he didn't...

it's been too long since my last hit. I'm shaking and hallucinating (probably still can't spell), I can't concentrate on anything... the full moon last night made me crave venison... my meat this evening was virtually raw and i'm starting to nibble necks.

  • Comment number 16.

Just re-watched the last episode of series one. Reckon I can get through series 2 before Zero Hour on Sunday? Working tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday - I forsee a few late nights!

  • Comment number 17.

three days, three days from this moment in time, three days till the waiting theorising contemplations stop. three days till we can sit in silence for one hour and enjoy. Then it all begins again what through spoilers or hints we got has been proven only partly right we can as people once again tear into as wolves into flesh devouring savouring every morsel.

    3 days to go

  • Comment number 18.

my family do not share my being human umm 'interest' so i have to wait till it goes on Ö÷²¥´óÐã iplayer.

  • Comment number 19.

17 a wolf savouring its dinner... really?! it'll never happen. devour yes, savour no. hello ewan. please tell me to get on with my essay. there's no sunday BH without essay completion. but I have cravings.

  • Comment number 20.

18 - That is terrible truly terrible an extra hours wait plus time it takes for i-player to start making being human available my heart goes out to you.

19 - 1000 words and you get too watch an episode then 1000 more repeat until complete, Also what were you on about in 9?

  • Comment number 21.

20 - you are incredibly generous in your allocation of BH through my studies! More than me!

Which bit of insanity are you referring to in 9? the statistical analysis of BH blogging? THIS IS WHAT DEPTHS OF DULLNESS I DESCEND TO IN THE FACE OF STUDYING. I get excited when you are nearing 25% of all blogs against a BH posting. I then thought that this may sound impressive, but there are other names who keep cropping up and I should analyse their percentage to assess how exciting your percentages truly are. But I stopped myself and resorted to my books as that does display a level of geekishness even you are appalled by.

  • Comment number 22.

21 - if you knew me at all you would know my levels of Geekness can be very server indeed. as those who know can attest.

  • Comment number 23.

Welcome Mr McNair or should that be Mr Green can't wait to see what you've been up to.
3-Us_thickies_at_the_hospital - Thank you for the trailer just took me up another excitement level its getting dangerous now 3 more sleeps and the 8 weeks of insomnia will kickin !!!!!

  • Comment number 24.

22 - oh no ewan, I have complete respect for your geekness; you are up there with the great geeks of our time! but your bewilderment at my geekdom made me worry I'd surpassed you just briefly, in the world of stats geeks. You totally blow me off the planet when it comes to hypothesising; I am a tiny atom of hydrogen compared to your Jupiter of geekness there!

  • Comment number 25.

No I got the random Maths of percentage use of blog space I was wondering why you started with me?
Remember I sometimes like to mess.

  • Comment number 26.

15- Warwickshire_Rose It wasn't just me last night that thought when John kissed Hattie's neck (He's goin for her troat)and there was a moment when they were in the car when I expected Herrick to appear for the back seat our subconsious minds have been programmed lol. Hope you manage to get you essay finished I'm sure your motivation won't let you down. I work from home and the blog calls to me daily so I know what its like Good Luck ;O)

  • Comment number 27.

Ewan... and like a tiny atom of hydrogen would be, I am inevitably gravitationally sucked into the orbit of your Jupiter-scale intellect.

  • Comment number 28.

26 - ah yes, I was checking the back of the car for Herrick too! Forgot that bit. It's not that we've typecast Aidan Turner, but well... we have. He's a vampire. Or he should be. None of this disappearing to New Zealand pretending to be a 6ft dwarf.
Blog is always worse when I am stuck to my computer at home all day trying to essay-write. It'll happen. Or I pay the price.

  • Comment number 29.

Not that great an intellect. Just a bit of a clever donkey with some things

Oh here is a thing 1000 words Just try it.

  • Comment number 30.

    28. He's our boy end of !!! We will rent him out on a temporary basis as long as they promise to look after him and return him in the same condition. Its only fair we don't want him to get bored. Really struggling with the whole dwarf thing (I mean really???)
The blog calls you, it knows when you are working and it says LOOK AT ME You might be missing something !?!? I won't destract you again sorry.

  • Comment number 31.

oh nevaaprincess... you don't need to distract me. I am distracted.
I have spent some time today developing a script where I would hope to cast Aidan for the male lead, so I'm all for sharing him around, so long as he is able to do BH still! If only I knew how to get my tv programmes out of my head and into something serious...

29 - Ewan 1000 words would be nice... just as soon as I have completed the essay plan... 11.5 pages to go on that... complete that and the cover sheets and formatting the essay document tonight, ready to write tomorrow. No bed until then.

  • Comment number 32.

Well good luck finishing your essay. I'm going to leave you to your work now.

  • Comment number 33.

    Well, Hello McNair =)

Cant wait to meet you and your son!!

    Sooooooooooooo excited

  • Comment number 34.

Another wee cheeky blog, cheers BHP, you're a star!

Great additional cast this year, lets hope for maybe a bafta then?

  • Comment number 35.

ewan. check out the time I got to go to bed! thank goodness for annual leave lie-ins!

  • Comment number 36.

    light weight

  • Comment number 37.

This seems to have been around on YouTube for a while but I haven't seen it linked from here before.

Interview with Michael Socha. He swears a couple of times so a small warning. Also might contain a small spoiler, depending on what you've already watched or avoided.

  • Comment number 38.

I haven't seen this one about the Boxtunnel Twenty before either

Sorry if I'm posting stuff you've already watched.

  • Comment number 39.

    Hello all.
Ewan and WR - hilarious. You make me laugh. So glad I don't have any essays to write right now. You can use the blog as a reward WR - work hard for 45 mins and then play for 15.
The waiting is agony - but it's so nice to connect with other people similarly obsessed. Fed up with the whole being on the other side of the world thing. You guys are all sleeping when I want to play. Then there will be another new blog and you won't even read this. Oh well I'll try anyway.
BH is just the best show ever.

  • Comment number 40.

I just watched the US show (the waiting got too much to bear).
Oh dear. As others have said, it's probably OK if you haven't seen the original. Don't think I'll be watching any more. It's kind of like a kiwi accent - sort of familiar, but just WRONG!!!! (No offence, I love NZ, but when you hear that accent unexpectedly...).
And I don't think I laughed once! One of the things I love about BH is that it's so funny.
    Only a few more days...

  • Comment number 41.

    Me again. Must be bored.
I have been wondering since I heard Nicola Walker's character would be a social worker, what would a SW be doing in BH. Could just be working at a hospital I suppose.
But what if George and Nina decide to adopt a baby and have to get assessed?? That could be hilarious. I can see it now:
"So you said there are 2 other people living here with you? I'll have to see them too."
"Oh did we say 2 others? We meant 1 ..."

  • Comment number 42.

36 - Ewan you whooped my sleepyhead. So sleepy was I that when my mobile buzzed me into consciousness I thought...
"ugh, sod it. It's probably just Tim. He always tweets in the middle of the night... doesn't he know that even though he's Aussie, he's still living in UK?"
I closed my eyes and didn't even register the second tweet come in. So it wasn't lovely humourous Tim. It was BH telling me to turn on the tv and I missed Lenora and Russell and I am gutted. Well rested but gutted!
Will be keeping an eye on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Breakfast's website to check if they put up the clip, but if any genius knows about the YouTube magic, please let me know it's up there! I'd completely forgotten it was Friday already, and they'd be on.

39-41, hello Aussie Sage. No one was on the blog to chat because they were either watching Ö÷²¥´óÐã Breakfast, getting dressed, in the shower, on their commute to work, eating breakfast, or perhaps lazy and asleep... the fools!
Gosh, you are even more generous in your blog allocation than Ewan! Once I get my head down and into the writing, I hope I won't be coming up for air very often. How much longer before BH hits down under?
We Brits are useless noticing differences between NZ and Oz accents and seemingly repeatedly offend the Kiwis by asking them where in Oz they are from. If they wore a black shirt I would know better but no!

  • Comment number 43.

It's like the Ö÷²¥´óÐã was watching me type and answered me:

    /news/entertainment-arts-12250830

  • Comment number 44.

Hey Sage glad we could keep you entertained

Don't worry about missing the interview WR you can thank Dorina for this link

  • Comment number 45.

Good morning Ewan! (it is still morning for me!)

Thank you for the link and thank you Dorina! Got to see the end of the interview. Charlie on Breakfast cracks me up every Friday. When he is having to deal with something he has no interest in he is hilarious. He's so consistent. In twenty years time he will turn into Bill.

  • Comment number 46.

Aah now you're waking up. Will be bedtime here soon.
WR - back to work! You can peek at the blog only briefly as a reward for lots of writing!
Kiwis should be honoured for being mistaken for Aussies. I have a campaign to make NZ a state of Australia anyway. I like it there. Nice and cool when it is too hot here.
I don't know when the ABC will get BH3. If anyone knows how I could find out I would appreciate it. I think I might have to ask a relative who knows how to get hold of things over the internet. I really can't wait 6 months like last year!!!!

  • Comment number 47.

well it's afternoon for me Sage good luck with that. Plus have a good nights sleep.

  • Comment number 48.

Thanks for putting the interview on you tube guys.
BH fans are such nice people.

  • Comment number 49.

I don't know if anyone has seen these. Scenes from the Series 3 :D

  • Comment number 50.

new and straight in with links nice one Horanzu

  • Comment number 51.

sorry I just can't take Robson Green seriously as I'm so used to seeing him all hysterical in "Extreme Fishing"

  • Comment number 52.

yes i agree drivingsuzanne i think he looks a bit more worse 4 wear though than he does in 'extreme fishing'.

  • Comment number 53.

LMAO Mr Green is hilirious....a walking toffe apple!! lol :O)
I loved the way he changed his voice to the menacing low tones, oooo bring it on McNair, and give us all a scare...lol.sorry I shall go now :OP
