@14: average of one hour from walking into the bathroom to walking out again. Bear in mind that I always clean my teeth after washing my hair, usually shave my legs too, might use the loo... plus my hair *is* three feet long and quite thick.

@239 yes I did! Dunno what the problem is the other day it was just having no effect, today it made the blog crash for me so I couldn't post! Ah well will just have to stick to regular text the only reason I wanted to know how was because I wrote a little scene to post and it needed italics, but that's all stopped now!

@LozzieLo (243) @oleta (255) I just can't do it, the fangirl thing. I have met people before that I've been a fan of, and I just feel like a complete t*at. And it's always disappointing, even if they are lovely I still just feel like an idiot. I went to the screening for bloggers of BH season 2 premiere, sat in the front row and loved every minute of the episode and the Q&A, but afterwards when the cast came out to meet people I had to walk past and leave.. (Don't get me wrong I was still looking ;) I would love to meet DM if it was a genuine meeting but I could never go up to someone and ask for an autograph/picture etc, it just feels too wrong to me! Annoyingly after checking out Travelling Light (I hadn't heard about it before) I do actually really want to see it DM or no DM, shame it's moved on now, I could have done the National Theatre but that 'UK tour' is as usual Northern only, it's all a bit of a trek from Brighton! :( Nothing good ever comes further South than London, I'm pretty sure whoever plans these tours just assumes all Southerners are actually Londoners!

@a0k wow 3ft long hair that's impressive! My hair used to be really long too but it got annoying when it was long enough to sit on I just had to cut it. I kinda miss it though, I'm quite jealous hehe

@Nic, I know what you mean about UK tours seem to think all southerners are from London, I'm in Devon, we hardly ever get anything good down here :o( We are off to the National but it will be a stopover with firends which makes it a little easier. I used to love it when BH was set in Bristol because it was one of the few programs with a West Country feel to it. . . so I was a little sad when they moved....

Yay 2 hours 30 to go, v v excited! haven't been on the blogs much this weekend having withdrawal symptoms!

I might be doing a bit of swooning but I try not to be too obvious about it (never said I was good at that, only that I try! ;) Excited about tonight's episode and the Q&A, I hope the blog holds up methinks it will get realy busy especially as they're bound to announce it at the end of the episode.. Well actually, not ouch because Devon is very nice but that must be a nightmare for getting to see stuff! I have a friend in Cornwall who lives in the most beautiful place but spends half her life and all her money travelling back and forth for gigs and shows etc. At least for me London is only about an hour away by train even if it is expensive. I drove down to Devon to see the Muse homecoming gig a couple of years ago and that was a proper mission, can't imagine having to do that often heh...

I think travelling light is gonna be back in the national after the tour.... I'm kinda tempted to go again! I got a bus/coach up to London from Newport on my own..... Rather nerdy I know..... But I did get to use it for uni work too- I had to write a critical review of a play. :)
I'd feel really stalkerish if I asked for an autograph etc. but would LOVE to work with or properly meet some actors

Re travelling light - am seeing it in Aylesbury which is so weird as its like my back garden then down the street and they do pick weird places for some things after a London run??
jodifay - I agree - it would be fab to be in the business like property master, or location hunting or costumes and then just be so laid back and "Ok yeah Im used to meeting all these guys, theyre just ordinary people" .. which of course is true, and then be a secret fan in private.. actually, second thoughts I'm happier as is, expressing my rabidness in the full light of day!

Hi all. Lots of new faces here. I've not posted here for months.

Just wanted to say I'm enjoying S4 after a shaky start (anyone who follows me on Twitter may have seen my live on air nervous breakdown during S4E1 LOL). It's gradually winning me back over again and I out and out loved the Kirby episode. I met James Marsters (Spike from Buffy) 10 years ago at an SFX convention. I was obsessed with Spike and the show at the time, but all I could think of to say was that he was too skinny (I had my arm round his waist for a photo). He was lovely, but I just came over all maternal!

It didn't help that I was heavily pregnant at the time. He probably thought I was fat (I was). He thanked me for being a fan, and I just blushed stupidly.

So I can't get past the fangirl flutterings when I meet someone I'm a fan of.

There are a few celebs at the gym I go to, but I'm always to scared to speak to them. That's why twitter is so good. I can kind of speak to them on that.
