Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh! Green box of doom! Off for a read!

  • Comment number 3.

Found some pics of them filming this weeks ep.

    Hal in the cell

  • Comment number 4.

Now, was this part of Cutler's plan? Or will the OO need to step in - again - and sort out the fall-out of the BT20? Will it be revealed that her body was mauled by what looks like a large, wild animal? The plot thickens...

  • Comment number 5.

Very interesting read indeed. Now I'm wondering if the police really are investigating (perhaps Cutler got sloppy), or if it's just another lie forced to the public by the vampires.

  • Comment number 6.

I'm curious as to whether Cutler has made Dr Wilson's remains look like a WW attack. She did have her throat ripped out after all.

Also will anyone report her speaking to Hal in the court corridors? Perhaps putting out Hal's description?

  • Comment number 7.

She died because of having her throat ripped out! Unless Cutler then used his gardening claw on her to hide his fang marks? I am so excited about tomorrows episode, but I still don't want it to end.

I think I'll go and do some cleaning. Keep busy, keep sane!

  • Comment number 8.

@Sea: Thanks for the lovely photos. Like the look of the 2nd one. Hal has a good taste in cars and clearly not short of a bob or two...

  • Comment number 9.

@BBD - I didn't think anyone saw her talking to him though. Even that silly woman on the phone seemed oblivious to the sound of a woman running and screaming behind her! Not that that's a bad thing...we don't want Hal getting mixed up in this.

  • Comment number 10.

    @Sea otter

    Thanks for the pictures.
That man he's kidnapped seems to have a camera years ahead of the era. Would be lovely to see the picture it snapped of him.

  • Comment number 11.

@6 Yeah a staging sounds possible. Yet another set up for Tom perhaps? Along with the video.

  • Comment number 12.

    @everyone.

Sorry, has anyone else noticed that the second paragraph is repeated. Did they run out of things to say?

  • Comment number 13.

@Fiona - That's usually what shows do, just to make it look like a full article. Perhaps they never originally planned to put it up on the blog, but I'm glad they did because it's indeed interesting.

  • Comment number 14.

Sea. Thank you for the pictures.

  • Comment number 15.

@12. Yeah, I saw that too Fiona, it wouldn't be the first time thats happened. I guess it's just meant as filler, we don't normally see articles this close up!

  • Comment number 16.

@Sea_otter - Thanks for the pictures by the way. The second one where Hal has someone in the boot really made me laugh!

  • Comment number 17.

LOL Was talking to hubby about seeing Damien at Leeds theatre on Saturday and he said "So if you're waiting at the stage door for him to come out...is that like a stakeout?" Hahahahaha!!! Just had to mention it!

  • Comment number 18.

@Tenbatsu - LMAO! Does he know much about Being Human, or was that completely coincidental? Lucky you for meeting Damien anyway, I'd love to see Travelling Light, but it's coming nowhere near Coventry, so I have to sit here sad and alone lol.

  • Comment number 19.

@17. That was pretty sharp. *round of applause for Ten's hubby* Lol

  • Comment number 20.

@18 and @19 He loves Being Human too...although i'm definitely more obsessed lol I just cracked up when he said it so had to share!! :D Gotta go into town to get bits 'n' bobs. Be back later :)

  • Comment number 21.

@Tenbatsu - what a clever husband you have there!

  • Comment number 22.

@20. See you around, have a good day!

  • Comment number 23.

JimJamJamieJoo I cant see it either as it comes nowhere near Norfolk. The closest place is London.

  • Comment number 24.

@Tenbatsu - Well glad you shared because it's hilarious! See you later :)

@Lozzie_lo - It's a shame our places get missed out from things like this. I was hoping Travelling Light would at least visit Birmingham, but nope, not anywhere near! I would travel to see it, but I can't as I'm heading to Amsterdam next month to see something in a theatre there, so haven't got the money!

  • Comment number 25.

@Sea: thanks for those photos. Love the car boot one. What a natty hat!
Somehow, I'm assuming it's a "who" and not a "what" in the boot when we (finally!) see ep7 and Mr York has been very very bad.

  • Comment number 26.

So something just occured to me while I was reading that news report.. What if outing the werewolves wasn't originally Cutler's idea at all? What if the OOs had some such plan in the 50s and recruited him to help, but for watever reason changed their minds? We know Hal left Cutler not long after, and we've seen before how the vampires see these orphans, young vampires left without their maker like Lauren. From what Herrick said to Mitchell about OOs and recruiting it sounds like it's a much bigger deal for them than for someone like Mitchell, so stands to reason Cutler would have been cut out of the OOs plans and left pretty alone after Hal left. He'd have had to fight for his place amongst the others who would have put up with him initially because of Hal, but the more distant the memory of Hal the less inclined they'd be to listen to him or take him seriously at all. But Cutler's clever and cunning, maybe he's decided to use his knowledge of those old plans to try and regain his place with the OOs now they're coming back, unaware that Hal's about to make a reappearance too. It would explain Hal's interest in the news reports, the box tunnel coroner etc, it would all seem uncomfortably familiar to him if it was his plan in the first place, but he wouldn't want to admit it until he was sure who was doing it, especially not knowing the OOs are on their way....

  • Comment number 27.

    26. Nic. I wouldnt have even thought of that! Good thinking!!

  • Comment number 28.

Oh nice blog! Get the magnifying glass out and go for a read.
    3. Fab pics Sea - thanks for those!

lozzie - hehe - snap! - nice thing to do posting pics for peeps not on the twitterati. Thanks.

  • Comment number 29.

The car in the 2nd photo is a Zephyr Zodiac, the more luxurious variant of the Ford Zephyr and was introduced in 1954.
Wonder what Hal was keeping in the boot? Reminds of Fergus saying that it could be like back in the day, girl on each arm and one in the boot. Or Mitchell's prequel with the girl in the back of the car. Clearly a favourite vampire trick...

  • Comment number 30.

Manc no worries. I wasnt too sure if anyone else had seen the pics.

Ive just finished watching the pilot of BH and i have to say I prefere the series as oppossed to the pilot, and I watched the American version as well. The UK version is better I think. Sorry to those who like the American version better.

Right Im going to go, but ill be back later.

  • Comment number 31.

@Nic - That's actually a really interesting and quite believable theory you've got going there. Never thought of that myself...although I don't tend to forecast anyway as I prefer to just find out what happens with a completely clear mind. But you're right about Hal's interest in all of this, there must be something going on there...unless he's just very nosey. My thought is; he's dry and left the vampires, so why would he be so bothered about the Box Tunnel 20? Surely he'd want to keep out of it, scared that it could lure him back in?

  • Comment number 32.

    Sea. Evil Hal

  • Comment number 33.

26 Nic - oh yes! hmmm like that idea very much.. so Cutler is picking up where he left off? One thing puzzles me though.. why did the OO leave in the first place and go to South America? I mean - why there and for what reason?

I can't read this, can anyone else?
(there is a massive thunderstorm right now in Manc!)

  • Comment number 34.

Naughty Cutler! Though I did love his 'Now look what you've made me do!' with a mouth full of blood.

I'm now wondering whether the police will find Cutler responsible or whether this won't go anywhere further.
If they do, will Hal protect him? It's clear now that they know each other very well (enough for a hug) so will Hal try and get Cutler out of any trouble. Or will he get him further into trouble?

    Also, Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

  • Comment number 35.

@Manc: yes, not sure why the OO have chosen South America (Bolivia if Golda's spreadsheet was correct). And doesn't Hettie say that 'they've nearly all shipped out there now' suggesting that it is perhaps a more recent development? I'd have thought somewhere less sunny and warm would be a better choice for vampires...

  • Comment number 36.

@JimJam yeah that's what I thought! Although it's pretty obvious a vampire is up to something with those news stories, I don't think it was specifically BT20 Hal's interested in so much as who is behind it all and why.. But there has to be a reason he's making it his business, you would think it would be easier for him to stay out of it and keep his head down. I thought it was a bit odd after making so much effort to stay away from people and being so unhappy about having to get a job etc, that he chose to confront the coroner, calling on his bad side to do it, for his own reasons no one asked him to do that. So he must have more of an idea what's really going on and what the consequences could be than he's letting on. On the surface of things Cutler's plan seems to be outing werewolves publicly, but it makes sense that he's also trying to catch a specific person's interest - whether that is Hal, or the OOs and Hal's just happened to work it out. I'm probably talking a load of nonsense but I guess we'll find out tomorrow!

  • Comment number 37.

Thanks for the pictures Sea and Lozzie - great! Now what do you think is in the boot of the car - Rachel maybe (no I don't actually think the guy in there in the picture is Rachel - I'm sure you know what I mean)?

34 - I thought Cutler looked very uncomfortable with that blood spilling out - as if he didn't want to swallow it - maybe he doesn't like raspberry flavour?

  • Comment number 38.

I wonder what Mitchell would have thought if he could see his Annie and the baby living with an OO, he'd have probably heard tons of stories about Lord Harry even if they never met

  • Comment number 39.

34/37 - I reckon he was worried about getting it all over his shirt. Wouldn't look professional!

  • Comment number 40.

I've missed something here - I don't want any spoilers but...

37 - who's this Rachael that you are all talking about? I mean, we knew very early on that there would be a Cutler wife or sister... actually I thought that Kate Bracken was playing that part - and then she turned up as Alex and I thought, oh well, we've got that wrong then".

  • Comment number 41.

36 @Nic - Well I don't think you're talking a load of nonsense because that really does make a lot of sense, and could raise a lot of questions. Is Hal really the good guy we think he is, or is he up to something? (I'm probably going a bit over the top, but we never really know with Being Human!)

33 Manc - If you click on the image, it should open up, and your cursor will turn into a little magnifying glass. Click once and it should zoom in so you can then scroll around and read it clearly!

Right everyone, it was great chatting to you all. Had some free time this Saturday so managed to spend much longer on here than usual, but unfortunately I need to claim my life back now. So I'll be off until later maybe, see ya!

  • Comment number 42.

36 - t&t well yes, and I was thinking about that Hettie flashback - she did say that so the OOs going to South America was quite recent - just before Ivan and Daisy went back to blightly and met Mitchell.

Sunny and Fleem have been on the blog, haven't they - *waving* thanks for the fan(g)fic!

  • Comment number 43.

@40. Manc, someones mentioned in the credits for ep7 as Rachel Cutler. That may be a bit spoilery but as to who she is it's mere speculation!

  • Comment number 44.

  • Comment number 45.

    Afternoon all!
Hi Tree-Hugger - glad you enjoyed the reviews! Planning to write a lot more about S4 once we've seen it all, I suspect it will keep me busy with my blog all summer...

BTW - is that the only newspaper ever without a date on the cover?! (Slinks back to pendants corner...)

Still thinking about Cutler and his plans and wondering if there is something I've missed.... Back after a bit of a muse and some coffee making, I need a lot of caffeine for this one!

  • Comment number 46.

43 - I don't read the cast credits - 'cos of spoilers - but we knew there were going to be 2 characters called Cutler months ago - so it's OK - but thanks lovely! Right, so Rachael Cutler then. hmmm
41 - thank JJJJ - tried but I can't get it to move around. Byee!

Anyway, main thing is we get to see Hal in a suit again! :D

  • Comment number 47.

    Just for you Manc

    By Will Trevithick

The body of Dr Jenny Wilson, coroner in the contoversial Box Tunnel murders case, has been found near the Upper Neuadd Reservoir in the Brecon Beacons. It has been a matter of weeks since Dr Wilson's report on the Box Tunnel murder investigation was leaked, claiming that killer Jason Healy had traces of human flesh in his stomach. For a case that has shaken the nation, this latest development caused further outrage and upset. Dr Wilson's death is being treated as suspicious and police say they will leave no stone unturned in the search for her killer. Senior Investigating Officer Tim Rye commented, "We have a number of leads on this case. The killer will be brought to justice and brought to justice quickly."

  • Comment number 48.

    46. And out of his suit too if earlier posts are anything to go by :)

    47. Shouldn't you have written most of that twice? ;)

Bedrooms are clean, now for the kitchen!

    N x

  • Comment number 49.

46 - Manc - I've not read the cast lists either - Rachel was mentioned months ago, when the odd *leak* was put out about characters who'd be *in it*. I've assumed that, now that we know Cutler and we knew the age of the actress that we thought would be playing Rachel, that she's either his wife in flashback or his grand-daughter. Could be wrong though - we did get the actress playing Alex wrong - so this could be an older woman playing Cutler's younger sister. Or well could be anybody at all. Clear as mud, I know. All I'm actually saying is I've no idea at all who is playing her or what her part in Cutler's story will actually be. If you can understand that lot - you're a better man than I am Gunga Din!

  • Comment number 50.

Just reading though that like hang on ive red this bit.

And i think this is part of Culters plan to expose the werewolves.

    "Whys he doing this?"

If you can guess that quote ill be impressed.

  • Comment number 51.

47 - Doggie - Aww thanks! ooh this is serious! I think Tom might get arrested again.
48 Ha! In his suit... out of his suit... I'm easy really... Nikki... ;D

  • Comment number 52.

39 - Not at all professional! Vampires must spend a lot of time washing their clothes. Maybe Cutler didn't want a large water bill from all the washing machine use...

  • Comment number 53.

    @48 Lol, copy, paste, repeat!

  • Comment number 54.

    @Manc - *waves!* hi!

@BBD -thanks for the transcript - was a bit hard to read. Hmmm, wonder if Tim Rye was promoted from Ö÷²¥´óÐã Office after Wyndam's....sabbatical....

  • Comment number 55.

@Tree-hugger: maybe there's a special vampire dry cleaners. Special offer to remove bloodstains...

  • Comment number 56.

50 - Hiya Saffz.. okay.. I'm gonna guess that it was Hal - sitting in the armchair - reading the paper, just before Tom and Allison came in after killing Golda...
If it's not that - still guess it was said by Hal. x

  • Comment number 57.

    @51, 54. You're welcome!

Definitely think this will be attributed to 'Large animal attack' and then Cutler will present a WW to the world. ie, our poor Tom!

  • Comment number 58.

56 - Nope hahaha sorry Manc

  • Comment number 59.

    50. S2E2 Carl when mitchell says that Stephen the coroner wont cover for them anymore?

  • Comment number 60.

    59 - Nope

  • Comment number 61.

    50. Sounds like something George would say. Don't know when or why, I can just hear his voice when I read it.

    N x

  • Comment number 62.

58 - ok - second guess is.. Allison said it... ermmm.. having a think.. maybe Tom...

57 - aw Dog - had you already posted the transcript on the blog? Sorry. (btw - you can only copy and paste a comment once - the next time, it sets off a spam trip-wire automatically...) *nods* I had a very stiff letter from the mods once about that....

54 - Hi Sunny! Tom's had it, hasn't he? We haven't seen much human reaction to these stories.

  • Comment number 63.

    61 - Still no.

  • Comment number 64.

saffz- Annie, me thinks...in regard to the video of Tom and George?

@Manc - it does seem that Tom is in for some...difficulty...

  • Comment number 65.

@62. No, it was in response to Nikki. The article repeats itself after the part i transcribed and Nikki said 'should'nt you have written that twice?' Hahaha!

  • Comment number 66.

    Hello,

Sorry to drag it back to Hal and Cutler, but just saw a Facebook comment on one of the photos:
"If we don't see what happens in the cell, Hutler is canon."

  • Comment number 67.

ROFL!! Manc you're all over the place. We always knew Kate would play Alex and we found her body double too. And we knew about Rachel Cutler when we were hunting for cast last summer and I found this

  • Comment number 68.

@timeandtide (55): yes, we hear about vampire infiltration of the police, courts, coroners, funeral parlours etc, but BH never goes into the massive support services network the vampires must have in less prestigious areas - dry cleaning, carpet cleaning, hairdressers (no mirrors!) etc.

Anyhoo, gotta go now, RL beckons till tomorrow (or the nightshift!)
    *waves to all*

  • Comment number 69.

Hubby wants us to go out to dinner. I can't be bothered. It means putting my face on! Bleurgh!!

Oh well. It seems we must be off. Catch you all later. Is there another clip to come today?

    N x

  • Comment number 70.

69 - There is indeedy. Enjoy dinner! *See* you later.

  • Comment number 71.

67- Sea - oh yess! Oh my! That's what cleaning the bathroom and polishing the spoons does to you - well - to me!

64 - ooh think Sunny might be right with that quote...

    Bye Nikki! Bye Lizzy!

  • Comment number 72.

    Hi all!
So nobody knows a thing about Rachel Cutler. I would guess she is either, as someone said before, Cutler's wife in a flashback (hence the ring) or she is a relative along the lines.

  • Comment number 73.

Woohoo - I've got my ticket for Travelling Light at the Lyttleton (National Theatre) though not until May 13th. Good to have it to look forward to in the Being Human deprived time.
Thinking about Sunday's BH, I don't think next week will nearly have me as much in tatters as last year when I was a nervous wreck between Eps 7 and 8 - and then, of course, I was in bits for weeks afterwards!

  • Comment number 74.

71 Lol! That cleaning fluid does that to people but I really thought you and Sasha had lost the lot there!

Thanks to everyone who said they liked the pics. I think we might be in for some great special fx this ep from the Old Coal Exchange in Cardiff.

  • Comment number 75.

    64 - Nope,

Its Culter to Dr Wilson when she says someone came to me at work today.

  • Comment number 76.

73 - Woo hoo Gingernut is going to see Damien - and and by the way - the actress that played Kirsty in S2 (you know, the one who had the florist's and liked German art films) well, she's in it too.

72 - oh good then. So, we are going to meet Rachael Cutler!

Are we giving in about that quote? Not a clue... and I want to know the answer.

  • Comment number 77.

    @50. Saffz, I'm stumped!

@74 sea, the pics were great! Wonder who Hal is looking in on in the boot?

I'm off for now folks, catch up later!

  • Comment number 78.

Hello :) lasagne anyone... Freshly made? :)
Argh! I've just found out I'm not gonna be able to watch the final for at least a few days.... Maybe a week after its on! I think I may explode!
    NOOOOOOOO!
That quote is really bugging me! Umm.... Mitchell about herrick maybe? In s1

  • Comment number 79.

75, ok, but Carl did say it too!

  • Comment number 80.

Question for @Gingernut or anyone else who might know.. Is Damien definitely still going to be in Travelling Light when it returns to the National? I know sometimes when plays get a second run in London they change all or some of the cast? I still want to see it anyway but would be nice to see him in it!

  • Comment number 81.

75 *facepalm* oh of course. Thanks Saffz!

74 dazed and confused is just a perpetual state for me Sea.. that's why I got the rocking chair.

The Old Coal Exchange? But that reminds me - where are those police cells? Where were they filmed - are they the same ones where that scene with George and Nina were filmed? And Annie and Mitchell? They look the same to me.

  • Comment number 82.

    77 Bye BBD!

80 - Nic - i heard an interview with Damien on Wednesday of this week - he said he would be touring with Travelling Light and then returning to the National until June. (which is when filming usually starts for BH).

  • Comment number 83.

    @78 JodiFay.

I can't watch it tomorrow night either. Which also means I can't come on here until after I've watched it. It's going to so hard to avoid spoilers and reviews - no blog, no twitter, no facebook, noooooo! *throws arms into the air*

  • Comment number 84.

Just re-watching series 1 and loving it :)

As to the article, I was slightly at a loss at first as to why it would in Cutler's interest to get this woman to leak a false claim the 'box tunnel murderer' is a cannibal, unless he's suggesting it was done by werewolves that ate people... except it wasn't at a full moon?? Can anyone else explain/theorise why Cutler would bother raking up the murders to make up stuff about cannibals?

oh, and loved the Cutler scene! I thought it would be amazing if Hal was his maker!

  • Comment number 85.

81 Well Annie and Mitchell's were filmed in Barry and Geaorge and Nina's in Cardiff. Cardiff's the older building so maybe there. It's a building that's been used for Dr Who too.

Which reminds me , there was a thought that they were filming at the Cardiff Stadium at one point wasn't there? Still got that to come. And at a park in Cardiff (That's not the Tredegar park).Bute Park? With the castle.

  • Comment number 86.

    82. @Manc ooh thanks, I hadn't read that - will definitely get some tickets! Don't think I'll be able to do the stage door thing though, I'm always a bit envious of those who can, but I just can't bring myself to do the fangirl thing!

    84. @earlyrose Yeah I think he was trying to imply BT20 killer was a werewolf who ate his victims.. I didn't think it happened on the full moon either but maybe he assumes people won't realise that

  • Comment number 87.

    @hello

    back from a RL stint
    yes it was lovely

    @sea, lovely pics
    loving Harry when he smiles
    so dangerous

    oh 27hours to go

  • Comment number 88.

    Evening all :)
I remember seeing Cutler clawing at someone with some sort of gardening tool. He did a very good job of impersonating a WW and dumped the body in the woods. Does anyone know if that was the coroner?
And if that was the coroner then i have a feeling thats bad news for Tom :/
Nice filling of the page with the repetition :P i only realised that when i read someone mention it.... It's been a busy day *rolls eyes* *Whistles

  • Comment number 89.

85 - oh yes, I asked about that castle last week - what happened to the castle? Mind you, with the boys on the crew you never know... what happened to 'the week of filming on a river in a boat'? Huh? All those pics they sent? hmmmm... I'll be having words... :D Thanks for the info... my guess is Cardiff.

86 - You're welcome. You would not believe the things you do 'cos of this Blog!

Hello Rose! Hello Saint! Hello Fiona and Jodi!

  • Comment number 90.

Evening everybody! *waves like a mad woman*

    So,
The coroner who implemented ww's (well cannibals) is found dead in a remote location, killed in suspicious circumstances, wounds resembling an animal attack. (It doesn't say that but we know they will)
    Cutler is resourceful.
He could have just made her disappear and the police of-course would know nothing about it. But instead he is using what he has available to put more blame on ww's. More evidence. The more evidence provided the more people will react.

Also had a thought about Cutlers wife, what if he murdered her before becoming a vamp? Then covered it up? That could be what made Hal pick him to be his heir, I'm thinking his reputation would have to be of doing something really bad while human rather than just being a good solicitor.
Cutler did something, the vamps heard about it- Hal got interested. Could even account for Cutlers dishevelled appearance in the scene!
Nick Cutler did something nasty and it caught Lord Harrys attention.

I'd put cupcakes on it if that wouldn't lead to an arrest for illegal gambling!

  • Comment number 91.

Yes, I'll try to find the stage door and take my camera - would be a pity not to.
    ;-)
I'll miss Damien's Q&A tomorrow night as I have a rehearsal so won't be in until 10 and then I'll be watching Ep7. I'll certainly look forward to reading (the madness!) on Monday morning!

  • Comment number 92.

Hi everyone! *waves* @91 Yeah i'm really hoping i'll get chance to find the door lol i'm guessing I won't be the only person trying!!

  • Comment number 93.

If Hal had a body in the boot of his car, could it have been the Coroner? Just cos he let her off once doesn't mean he didn't go back and finish the job? Or he could be helping Cutler clear up his mess?

( Will need George's 3 types of cleaning fluid to get rid of that smell :-))

    40. Rachel could also be Cutler's mother, if she appears in a flashback?

  • Comment number 94.

    @
credits linked Rachel Cutler with a young actress

as for Hal carboot picture, it is Lord Harry 1950s flashback before he met Leo
and the car is not the blue Mercedes

  • Comment number 95.

    Hello everybody!
What on Earth is Mr. Cutler up to now?

@93 - I think the boot of the car shot is more likely to be a flashback...but I could be wrong

  • Comment number 96.

Harry Potter #3 is on tv right now. Look it's Wyndham!

88- Catrin - when we saw Cutler dragging that body bag up to the quarry - and using the metal claw to scratch marks on the body - I thouht that was a man. I thought the coroner came later than that.

93- Kath.. ohh yes - Rachael could be Cutler's Mum as well - AND it is Mothers' Day tomorrow - might be a theme. I thought from the way that Hal was dressed in the pic that it was part of a flashback somehow, he's wearing a trilby and a suit. Not sure now. *goes back to look at pic again*

@Saint (waving): It's a zephyr zodiac (luxury version of the ford zephyr) and was introduced in 1954...(hides in car-geek corner).

88- that was a homeless person, but he did kill the coroner- he said 'now look what you made me do'; obviously he then made it look like a murder, possibly by an animal?
