Nah I dont think Kemp is a vampire - all the religious stuff would be too painful I think...although Lloyd does refer to "the bible boys" which I'm guessing is Kemp and Jagat so does that rule Lucy out?

One thing Lloyd said really jumped out at me "the bible boys downstairs". So Lloyd, Kemp and the mysterious Professor aren't the only members of CenSSA and Kemp isn't the only religious fanatic.

I remember reading somewhere that there would be a death in series 2, might be Nina.

It's 20 something days to the next full moon? I suspect that will fall at or near the end of the season during which time George will try to rescue Nina from CenSSA, if he fails she'll be the next type 3 in the tank.

Plus we already had a death in episode one- the guy in the decompression chamber.

And Saul as well.... my, my series 2 has started out quite messy!

Eagle: Hmmm...can't work Lucy out myself...if she is Prof Jaggart well, then she just is, but if she isn't...who is? Who else is there left? Can't imagine Hugh would be....Hugh's dad has been mentioned I think...but then Hugh would probably be covering for him when he said he was helping out at the pub because his da was ill...unless his da lied to him and said he was ill as a cover, and that he had to go away for a while but that'd be a bit dodgy...Nina obviously isn't... what about the pathologist, Quinn; maybe that's why he's had a bit of an epiphany about suddenly stopping covering up for the vampire killings...he seems a bit religious..

The only others left are the ancient guy who collects glasses in the pub and the vampires Ivan is part of...I've had a thought...what if Ivan is the Professor and is claiming to be religious as a cover-up for a double life whilst getting rid of the entire household, with the possible exception of Mitchell...I'm running out of ideas for the identity of Jaggart! :P

Elly: (30) Hiya! There is apparently going to be a death but we don't know who it is...not one of our housemates, we think, but another main character...could be Prof J or Kemp or Lloyd...the possibilities are endless!!

The last episode is being shown on a full moon :-P

Toby did say that someone will kill and someone will die...he then said it would be a main character. Well that doesnt necessarily mean our 4 - Kemp is a main character and when Jagart turns up I suppose he/she will be...not gonna join in the speculating though I caused too much trouble last time so my lips are zipped lol

Anglo (35)- You might be onto something there with the old guy who collects glasses at the pub. Toby's great at making characters who seem more or less in the background suddenly become more important.

I think Mitchell will kill, he IS a vampire after all and George killed last series. Unless it is Annie or Nina in a wierd twist but I think Mitchell killing seems more likely.

I have a horrible feeling that Nina might die. Looking at the way things are heading at the moment that seems to be te case. But who really knows.

I have a feeling that there will be a big reveal moment at the end of an episode if Lucy is Professor Jaggart. Like someone says her surname and we jsut know what it means.

No one has said he or she yet and I think they are playing on the old technique used in some riddles like: 'Dave is the son of an astronaut but the astronaut is not Dave's father, how is this possible? - They are mother and son'

Because most people, I mean not us superfans obviosuly will think, Professor = a man and not think into it being Lucy or even a woman. I mean we could be totally wrong here, but we can have a small I-told-you-so moment If we are right, yeah?

well even though i like LLoyd very much and want to give him some leeway, that video has put me right off him! he isn't even good at lying to himself anymore!

at least we now know Nina's last name isn't Jaggart - one more name crossed off a very long list! ;)

i still think Kemp could be a very old-school vampire, and this is like some sort of crusade for him. he thinks by doing God's work he'll somehow be cured or forgiven. but that's just the ramblings of this crazy newbie...

but Kemp is against vampires(thinks they're the devil incarnate and must be destroyed), werewolves (thinks that they contain an evil gene that can be removed by violent scientific experiments) and ghosts(thinks that they must be forced over to the other side whether they like it or not). So I don't think he is a type 1, 2, or 3 (to use Lloyd speak). I think hes a religious nutter (sorry, fundamentalist christian) and the bloggers should put a stop to him!!!!!!

Outlandish theory: maybe Jaggart is something else, maybe there are more than three 'types'. Though I doubt it.

And another outlandish theory: Jaggart is Herrick. There that's out the way. Looking at the two words like that they seem pretty similar, same number of letters, vowels in the same places, 3rd and 4th letters the same ... It all fits! Nah, I'm kidding. :D

there's a quote 'the threat in series 1 was herrick, a supernatural. However in series 2, the threat is from a human...' so i don't think professor jaggart is a supernatural i think he/she is human

Hi everyone *waves* I'm just watching it again being repeated....Mitchell and Lucy are sitting on Lauren's bench...aaaaah.

I already love this episode so much....fave bits so far:
1) Mitchell in the chair...need I say more! I did wonder is the plastic sheeting down just because he will actually be tied to that chair for six months (thinking going to the toilet etc, or is that too gross?)
2) Mitchell in the lift being totally geeky ("oh no,I've turned into my flatmate" lol)
3) George and Mitchell in the kitchen discussing Carl and George getting all jealous.

Funny how all my fave scenes involve Mitchell.....lol

has anyone noticed the hidden identities trailer only has clips from episodes one and two, with one clip at the end being the only thing we haven't seen yet?

Just watched the repeat on Ö÷²¥´óÐã3 there and was watching the advert carefully for any clues bout the next weeks. In the advert right after the credits, did anyone else notice theres a red demon guy standing behind Mitchel? He was wearing a suit and everything! That was new!

I do remember Annie making hot water though since they are out of tea, and here is my in depth evaluation of that, get this, ready? They haven't got any tea because ... Annie is invisible and can't buy any! Woo! I can't remember anything which may be useful to the plot. :D

Sort of on the subject of that, can the things Annie carries be seen when she is in invisible mode? Or do they disappear with her?

Quick heads up to anyone who wants some new images, they've appeared on the gallery, could do as wallpapers though they aren't quite high-res enough, we may have to beg the production guys who already do so much for us for some offical wallpapers, unless, I dunno we make our own, that could be a bit of fun.

Morning all.....I was going to say something relevant and inciteful but have just seen eagle's mention of the chair thing and completely lost my train of thought (again)........where was I?....oh yeah.

When we saw Mitchell tied to the chair we all assumed this was not a good thing but it turned out someone who loved him was trying to help him.
We thought Saul was going to be a threat to Annie but really in the end I think he went through the door without her when he could have dragged her through.
Now, we (notice the royal we) assume that Lucy is a threat to Mitchell but what if it's the other way round (Toby showed us Lauren's bench). Of course if he does something bad, we (we again) will be full of "Well these things happen". "He was under alot of pressure" and "Well it was her own silly fault" and my own personal take on it "I will forgive that face anything".
And when Nina is at her fiesty, sarcastic best she could be more than a match for Kemp....and she will make mincemeat out of Lloydy boy.
But the main point to consider.....is it Sunday yet?

Just read a few posts...chuckled at the rubber matting under Mitchell's chair...unsure whether it was to give him electric shock treatment (he was somewhat, er, damp in that chair...probably sweat but if he's going to come off the blood perhaps they were thinking about giving him electric shock therapy) but then decided even Carl wouldn't torture Mitchell to get him on the wagon...mind you, being tied up for a looooong time has an unfortunate effect when you need to visit the bathroom....perhaps that's why it was there...oh dear I've sunk to fairly low depths now but that's my take on it...hehe

There are too many twisty turny things going on....Have I missed something though....if they intended to spirit (geddit?) Carl out of the country why did they have to pretend he was dead first?....what have I missed? (and I wouldn't trust Ivan with my worst emeny let alone my friend)

VF: I'm fine thanks despite something i've just attended to I'm not happy with but, hey, that's work for you..

A lot of twisty-turny stuff indeed...is Lloydy-boy good or not...is Lucy the innocent or not...is Hugh as good as he appears, nor not... the list is endless....we were warned about this though and that there are lots of twists and turns...for all we know Ivan may turn out to be a saint, Daisy an angel, Mitchell an absolute terror and Nina is Prof Jaggart!

I think Carl had to be 'dead' (and I still haven't quite got my head around that for reasons I'll outline in a minute) so that he could be registered as deceased in order to put anyone after him off the trail so that if they checked the official records, he'd be dead..whereas he isn't...but, here's the thing..

I can understand him being 'dead' if he was human and had been turned into a vampire...we saw that happen with Lauren when the funeral parlour and now the dodgy pathologist would cover everything up and make bodies who were now vampire bodies, 'disappear'...forms were signed, burials made (not with the vampire body inside the coffin, one would assume) and everybody (almost) was happy...

But how do you 'kill' someone who is already a vampire and presumably can only be killed by staking? Or, he isn't dead at all (hence the body disappearing after Nina spotted him and recognised him as Carl)...have I missed something? Did his 'dead' body disappear, whilst the 'live' version went to Brazil?

Did you notice in Ep2 (and i have seen it more than once) that when Saul (who obviously wasn't as bad as we thought because he didn't shove Annie through the door when he could've done..and he looked gutted when he realised he'd left her behind...wonder why he did leave her though?..because he couldn't bear to do something against her will or because he didn't want her to face the bad things he'd seen there?) walked into his house, he threw his keys into a small bowl on the table....just like Owen used to....nice touch I thought.

What do you think about this...more to the point, did you understand it (I'm having several senior moments)..

I see what you are sayong about Carl but I can't see the need to have any body at all...it's probably me...but I blame Tobes...if he insists on starting an episode with a half-naked....oh you know the rest....how am I expected to concentrate for the next 60 mins.

And Mitchell as an absolute terror....don't know what you could possibly mean....So you are absolutely sure it's not Sunday yet?

VF: Well, exactly!! Half-naked, abusive, cold-turkey, bare-chested Aidan is both a good and not so good way to begin an episode...but there are more good reasons than not so good...hehe....he has a strange attraction when he's like that which is weird because he shouldn't be doing that to me...but then, this is Being Human and anything they write is amazing so I'll forgive them anything too!

The body thing I couldn't really get...like you say, why bother creating a body, unless they really wanted to make sure it was all official and above board and you'd need a corpse to make that happen...I just don't understand how a vampire can be a corpse AND be able to go to Brazil at the same time...

I am very much hoping Mitchell will not turn completely bad, just be bad when necessary...with me....I can handle that

I have a day off today & am going to watch episode 2 again - I can't really remember much after the Mitchell opening scene. Do we think Toby realises that a topless Mitchell scene will make our concentration suffer?

VF: I thought he may be someone because he's been around in the background, walking through doorways, having a pint, but saying absolutely nothing...but still there nonetheless....makes me think perhaps he's one of those giant red fish that keep cropping up or that he's lurking for some reason....do we think he's a vamp? Prof Jaggart? A giant red fish? Hugh's dad? Or just an old geezer who really does collect the glasses for washing and gets a pint in return?

It must be the worst-run pub ever...hardly any customers...makes me think there's something odd about that...how does it survive as a business (unless it gets a little help from another group of people...like the vampires...or CenSSA??)...Hugh looks lovely but, as we know, looks can be deceiving....

I loved it when Mitchell was in the chair screaming obscenities and threatening to "rip your throat out" to the guy who ended up dead... really going on the wagon in a big way there.

Now...Lucy...still think she's involved in this, or will become involved in it if she's innocent as it stands...Mitchell is all speechless and George with her, isn't he? Too used to having the ladies all over him and can't understand someone who is cool and aloof for once!

I understood Ivan when he met up with George in the isolation room, when he was talking about the 200-odd years he's been a vampire he said that he stopped feeling...he couldn't understand why what George said to Daisy made her start to feel human emotions towards her daughter at all because he's lived the dream for so long he's forgotten and is now 100% vampire...our gorgeous one, however, hasn't reached that stage and let's hope he never will....but remember what Carl said...he thought he was fine after 20 or so years of giving up the blood but then ended up killing his lover whom he adored...doesn't look good for Mitchell giving it up...maybe he thinks sod it, I'll just be bad...perhaps Lucy is killed and he turns bad then...

Julia (77) Hello there...don't worry about the memory loss after the first couple of minutes of Ep2....I thought I was having either a very early menopause or several senior moments....couldn't tear myself away from the screen...kept pausing it...god knows why..

I can't help myself thinking...what if Nina tries to do George and the others a 'favour' as she sees it...puts them in CenSSA's grip, thinking she's doing them all the world of good, or George at least...then either George ends up in the decompression chamber...or she does....and it all goes pear-shaped from there? I can't see how putting a ghost in there would do a lot...or a vampire for that matter...so far, the only ones we've been led to believe go in the chamber are Type 3's.

Or Nina sells them out because she's forced to...perhaps they hold her hostage, hoping to get George and co to rescue her and so they can nab them all...

Lucy....well, I've gone there many, many times (see previous blog posts)...am hoping she's good for Mitchell and that it's about time the pair of them were happy together, but of course, this is BH and anything is possible...or impossible...but something tells me that she is involved though innocently, perhaps, but then gets very involved later on...or she's involved totally, and knows what's going on from the very start and is out to trap them...but she and Mitchell seem to be developing a real connection so maybe she is a bit innocent after all....

Perhaps someone in Kemp's life became a vampire, werewolf or ghost, hence his mission?

I thought Carl had to 'die' to stop the search for Dan's killer and also to prevent any further post mortem activity. He's a vampire so he's already a corpse of sorts.

There must be someone good, they can't all be bad/weirdos, can they?

Saul came good in the end, by not obeying the 'voices' he was hearing and choosing not to drag Annie through the door.

Want to trust Hugh and don't want to trust Lucy, ie completely manipulated by the writing and just where I'm meant to be. Sigh.

Sorry if someone has already said this, but they might not even identify Jaggart the first time with something said, it might be something written. A name on a door that someone walks past and that the camera doesn't linger on, on a piece of paper, again with no 'look at this' emphasis. Then a little later the big reveal. That way fans who are paying attention get maybe a few minutes of going OMG OMG! before the casual viewers are told :-)

Mustardseed (81) Hmmmm...must keep an eye open for the name above the pub door...what if it's Kemp and Hugh is his son, hence the fact that Dad isn't around too much at the watering hole but hanging around with CenSSA? Would explain why he's not there and Hugh is in charge...

Think it was either Toby or Colin Teague who said that the ones who are supposed to be bad aren't necessarily so, and vice versa...could be the ones we think are, aren't...

I've thought about the dead vampire body and yes, it now makes sense to me!

AGree about Saul...he could've forced Annie but left her and jumped into the corridor himself...perhaps the shock of the assault and then the tussle for the corridor with Saul left her invisible...she should regain her visibility I'd have thought..

here's my two-penneth worth.... the other vampire guy OD'd on heroin which took him into a coma state which he was able to come back out of.

i don't think professor jaggart is on the scene yet.

i think hugh is innocent and i think annie will turn psycho ghost.

i think mitchell is not used to dealing with rejection and likes the domineering nature of lucy. but it is most strange to see him like that. there was a strong theme of him being dominated this week.... no complaints from me! but there is something rather strange about the way he can be so willing to be obedient to what she says... jury's still out on her for me.

i don't think when push comes to shove nina will betray the other 3. she will come round to the idea that they need to be a community rather than lone rangers - and that there is safety in numbers.

i've lost my train of thought now so that's all i have to say for now.

actually bh prod if you have any influence in the world of drama and film could you please lay bare my request that there be no alvin and the chipmunks 3 released next christmas as i have endured 1 and 2 for the last 2 christmases in a row and 3 would be like absolute torture. thank ye...

I did really like the drunk driver trying to take Annie to hell that was good.
There had to some down side for her not going through the door and now it looks like she is under attack by the devil, wanting fresh new inersaints.
I do think that Kemp will have some conection with someone we have already seen, What is the new game we are all playing.

Just seen ep3 and I should have guest how Kemp's side kick would be after she gave the cross to the victim of the attack at the river side. but then it is a bit hard to how you are going to make it be.

I like the way they are twisting the plot with around all the people so its all just holding together and at any time could unravel.

So having seen the clip of next week’s show things aren't looking good for Nina. I fear she is going to be sacrificed as a medium for us to be fully stuck by how brutal this group is that are 'curing' and cleansing the supernatural. Yes, we saw that other chap die horribly in the compression chamber, but he was essentially a storyline requirement, but now we face the threat that it is a character we care about.

I can see why it is going to be her – when George finds out, as I presume he will otherwise why bother having the CenSSA group storyline, we are going to see the irony that the last of his humanity is not destroyed by the monsters he knows, but by humans themselves. I suspect we will see the wrath of a werewolf worse than the one that killed Herrick. The love that saved him in the first season may destroy him in the second.

But what is a pity is that we will never get to see what could have been with Nina; coming to terms with her curse, her relationship with George (could werewolves that love each other actually change in close proximity – pack hunting? Especially as Were-George became calm when he could see Nina through the spyhole in the door at the end of the last series), the issue of children, just to name a few.

I know my assumption is that she will be killed, but I can’t really see at this moment how there is any way for her to survive or escape? This brilliant series is certainly taking a darker turn once more... Thoughts, people?
